Il Tour alle Isole Ballestas inizia presso il molo artigianale e turistico di El Chaco. Saliremo a bordo della nostra barca con 02 motori fuoribordo che ci porteranno alle meravigliose Isole Ballestas, il santuario della fauna selvatica più importante della costa peruviana, dove osserveremo leoni marini, uccelli sciocchi, pellicani, pinguini e altri uccelli marini. Sicuramente il momento clou del Tour alle Isole Ballestas sono i leoni marini o leoni marini che rubano l'attenzione di tutti per il loro comportamento curioso (dormono, "posano davanti alle telecamere", o semplicemente socializzano e vivono senza problemi poiché occupano la cima della catena alimentare della zona priva di predatori naturali).

Ci fermiamo dopo aver navigato 10 minuti per poter apprezzare con attenzione un punto settentrionale della penisola di Paracas. Dove puoi guardare, fotografare e filmare il Lampadario dove la guida ti spiegherà brevemente le misure, i materiali della zona e la loro possibile provenienza.
La navigazione prosegue e dopo circa 15 minuti dal Candeliere arriverete alle Isole Ballestas dove avrete 30 minuti per apprezzare una grande biodiversità grazie alla corrente di Humboldt e al fenomeno della risalita oltre ad altri fattori come il sole e i venti. Gli amanti del birdwatching ne troveranno un gran numero come: gabbiani, sule, cormorani, pellicani, avvoltoi e pinguini di Humboldt. Si vedranno anche crostacei, echinodermi, molluschi, alghe e altri. Sicuramente il clou del Ballestas Islands Tour sono i leoni marini che rubano l'attenzione a tutti per il loro comportamento curioso (dormono, "posano per le telecamere", o semplicemente socializzano e vivono senza problemi perché occupano il vertice della catena alimentare nella zona priva di predatori naturali). Il ritorno, di circa 40 minuti di navigazione, diventa rilassante e godersi la brezza marina è un naturale antistress.

Promised penguins as hands down basic animals to see. None not one did not even mention penguins until asked on the return trip. We were told on board that yesterday we saw a few run down from the top Of the rocks where they reside and ran back. Horrible waste of time. We saw flying birds and 2 sea lions. That was it. Waste of money and time. They charge you an additional entrance fee of 18 soles per adult for a 5 soles entrance ticket. Because they told us penguins. We sold it to our kids and they were ready to see them only to be super disappointed.
I really recommend this company! Communication was great. They picked us up from the bus station. We could store our luggage at the office for the time of the trip which was really helpful. The trip itself was great. Our guide Marco was so nice! He explained a lot and was also funny. Also the captain let everybody see the animals from both sides. We were in the boat with circa 40 people. 20 on each side. Sunglasses and wind jackets come in handy. We had to pay for entering the national park to Islas Ballestas. It would have been nice to have an option to pay for both national parks - Paracas national park and Islas Ballestas national park. It’s cheaper and when we went for a tour later we had to pay again. We saw 2-3 penguins and it was a success because July is not their season. We also saw many sea lions (with babies too) and tons of birds. The overall experience was great. Perfect way to start the day in Paracas.
It was a great tour and we saw impressive animals. Unfortunately only two penguins. The tour guide (Riccardo) was very nice and gave us a lot of information.

Both the captain Roger and the tour guide Ricardo did an amazing job guiding us through the experience, explaining the details of the islands and also spotting the penguins and sea lions. Had a great time and an unforgettable experience.

Incredible tour. Ricardo is a true expert and he described the islands and wildlife to such a depth that we also learned about climate change and how Paracas and the Ballestas impact the Peruvian economy. This is a very unique experience and with Ricardo’s master class and the captain ‘Caballo’’s navigation around the islands, we leave with great knowledge and memories.
The tour experience was awesome, the tour guide was very knowledgeable and kept us informed with a lively experience.
Our boat excursion was part of a two-day tour. Everything was organized perfectly and our guide on the boat, Riccardo, was fantastic!!! We saw so many anomalies belonging to the Peruvian ecosystem! Highly recommended.
