Inizia il tuo viaggio nel sud-ovest di Koh Samui dove passeremo le pittoresche Cinque Isole. Queste isole ospitano un fenomeno misterioso e raramente visto, la raccolta dei nidi di uccelli.
La nostra prima tappa nell'arcipelago del Parco Marino di Ang Thong è anche il luogo più remoto e magico, in esclusiva per il nostro tour. Torniamo al parco marino e passeremo Ko Lao Yu per goderci il panorama. A questo punto, ti offriremo un delizioso pranzo a buffet mentre viaggi lungo le più interessanti isole calcaree del parco Ang Thong, che sorgono dal mare come scogliere rocciose drammatiche e bizzarre formazioni rocciose.

Successivamente, passiamo da Ko Wa Noi sulla strada per Ko Mae Ko per vedere la Laguna Blu.
Mentre ci dirigiamo verso sud, oltrepasseremo anche Ko Sam Sao o tre isole gemelle, con il suo notevole ponte in pietra naturale che si estende verso il mare, con spiagge di sabbia bianca e pulita.
Ko Mae Ko è dove troverai la famosa "Laguna Blu", l'ispirazione per il libro di Alex Garland e il film successivo, "The Beach". Conosciuto anche come "Emerald Lake", la gente del posto lo chiama "Talay Nai", che significa "mare interno" ed è ampiamente considerato il momento clou del Parco Marino di Ang Thong. Siamo l'ultima barca a visitare Ko Mae Ko, il che significa che non incontriamo altri tour organizzati.
Qui puoi decidere di salire fino al punto panoramico o rilassarti sulla spiaggia appartata. Salite le ripide scale lungo stretti burroni per raggiungere una vista panoramica delle 42 isole del Parco. Una volta raggiunta la cima, ti avventurerai dall'altra parte per dare un'occhiata più da vicino al lago nascosto di acqua salata completamente chiuso, che oltre alla sua bellezza, funge anche da vivaio naturale per ogni tipo di vita marina.
Mentre torniamo a Ko Samui, passeremo anche a Ko Wua Talap, il quartier generale del Parco Marino.
Attraversa l'isola di Phaluai, una delle poche isole abitate nel parco marino di Ang Thong, sede di una piccola comunità di pescatori "zingari del mare", che sono le persone originarie che si stabilirono nell'arcipelago di Samui. We spent excellent day with amazing crew and chef on this boat and snorkeling trip. The crew provided us with great snorkeling equipments, we had fantastic lunch on board and had a lot of fun on the way. We were also lucky enough to see dolphins and a lot of colorful fish.
I found this trip online as I am not fan of speed boats and this operator offered a slower boat to the marine park with time to enjoy the trip. We (2 adults and 2 teenagers) enjoyed the trip with the red dragon so much. Fun activities and excellent staff who does everything to make you feel comfortable. We can just say: go as soon as you can! you will have the best day. Best for active families, lots of time to relax but the trip is the most fun if you take part in the snorkling, kayaking and hiking. All activities are safe and guided by the friendly staff on the boat.
We had an absolutely fantastic full-day boat tour and couldn't have asked for a better experience. The entire crew was outstanding from start to finish—friendly, professional, attentive, and always smiling. They made us feel welcome throughout the day and went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. A special mention goes to our captain Two, who was simply incredible with our children. He was patient, kind, and made them feel involved and excited all day long. His warm personality and genuine care made the trip even more memorable for our family. The food was another highlight—absolutely amazing! Everything was fresh, delicious, and beautifully prepared. It exceeded all of our expectations and was one of the best meals we've had on any tour. Perfect family day trip to Ang Thong Marine Park. The crew were fantastic and made our group of 15 feel very welcomed and relaxed. Boat was perfect size for us, food was tasty authentic Thai, and kid friendly. We loved the Sea Kayak experience and also the snorkelling. Would recommend to any family groups wanting a private tour. Two and his crew were so attentive. We had to have a later start and they were so accommodating. From pick up to drop off we were treated like family. The food was delicious and the kids loved the banana splits at the end. My sister was proposed to during the kayak portion on a small beach in torrential rain and the crew helped make the moment unforgettable. This was a fabulous trip. The Blue Dragon is not a speed boat so it does take the best part of two hours to get to Ang Thong but the payback is that it is a smoother ride and they can take kayaks. Once we arrived we jumped into the kayaks and explored the caves and then kayaked to a small inlet which was magical, photo opportunities galore and not another boat in sight, really terrific experience. We were provided with excellent food and all in all very well looked after. We were a family of six and the Blue Lagoon gave us ample space to relax and enjoy the day, highly recommended.

Everything was perfect. Even though it was a full-day tour, it wasn’t tiring at all we enjoyed every part of it. All of the activities are optional, so if you prefer, you can simply stay on the boat, relax, and enjoy the view. The staff were amazing everyone was friendly, helpful, and always smiling. This was the best part of our trip to Thailand. We saw so much, with the snorkeling as the highlight of the trip. Easily worth the price for sure. The staff was well organized, friendly and very professional. The food, prepared on board, was delicious and gave a lot of options. We rented the entire boat for our family gathering, which was perfect since we were traveling with an infant and a toddler and needed privacy. The whole experience was incredible. The crew was very helpful with the kids, and the amount of food was three times more than we needed 😅. Our guide, Tatiana, was very informative and experienced. It was a great trip to Ang Marine Park. The park is awesome and snorkeling was amazing. The lunch on board was very tasty. However, the boat is a bit slow and it took 2.5 hrs one way which left little time to enjoy the park. In retrospect, speed boat would have been a better choice.
