Biciclette, viste sui ghiacciai e birre inizia con un giro in van di 20 minuti dal centro storico di Juneau fino alla Mendenhall Valley, dove sarai equipaggiato con biciclette, caschi e attrezzatura da pioggia, se necessario. La corsa inizia sul lato orientale del ghiacciaio Mendenhall, con un giro di 4 miglia sulla riva occidentale del lago Mendenhall. Qui, potrete godere di una breve pausa e vista panoramica sul lago. Successivamente, salterai di nuovo in sella alle biciclette e pedalerai per 4 miglia verso il lato orientale del ghiacciaio, attraversando due bellissimi sentieri nella Foresta Nazionale Tongass. Dopo il giro, la guida ti accompagnerà al Mendenhall Glacier Visitor Center, dove avrai 45 minuti di esplorazione indipendente. Guarda il ghiacciaio, goditi i sentieri e scopri la storia della zona. Al ritorno al furgone, farete un breve viaggio in auto fino al Forbidden Peak Brewery e assaggerete un volo personalizzato di birre locali e godrete della vista su Auke Bay. Awesome experience. You ride around the glacier and if there's time, you can also hike up! Daniel was a knowledgeable and likeable guide. The brewery afterwards was top notch!

The ride was nice 4 miles to view of glacier and 4 miles back. Mix of bike lanes on roads and well maintained forest path. Also opportunity to visit welcome center and 1 mile hike to spectacular falls. Chanelle was a great guide.

Lachlan, our guide was fabulous. He was pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful. It was pouring rain which added to the fun of the day. The brewery was a nice finish to the tour. Highly recommend it.

Lachlan led a great bike ride to the lake and then back around to the Visitor’s Center, and gave us a good tip about how to approach our quick hike to Nugget Falls. Enjoyed learning about the glacier while getting some good exercise.

Our bike tour to Mendenhall Glacier with Ally was absolutely fantastic and one of the highlights of our visit to Juneau. From the start, she was professional, friendly, and made sure everyone felt comfortable by clearly explaining the bikes and equipment. The ride itself was spectacular. We cycled past beautiful lakes, breathtaking glacier views, and some truly enchanting scenery that we never would have experienced on our own. Ally was knowledgeable, courteous, and created a relaxed atmosphere that made the tour enjoyable for everyone. To top it all off, we stopped at a local brewery and sampled some delicious brews before heading back to Juneau. The entire experience was well organized, fun, and memorable from beginning to end. If you’re visiting Juneau and want an active, scenic, and unforgettable adventure, I highly recommend touring with Ally!

We had an amazing time on this tour, on our first day in Juneau as a family of four with a tween and teen. Company had perfect bikes that fit us all (and offered to bring two options for our tween on the cusp of kid/adult bike sizes). Tour guide Daniel was absolutely amazing and filled with facts about the area and nature. And we saw a bear!!!! Amazing communication all around.
