You can get tickets directly for half the price online and the lines are not long at the Bell Tower. This is a waste of money and provides no additional value.
Expensive view of view of Venice. I was disappointed. Not a good value for what you get. You have to walk a bit to the Venice Tour office to get you tickets and appears with audio guide info. If you happen to be in the tower when the bells ring brace yourself for how loud they will be.
Dear Guest, We are sorry to hear that the tour did not meet your expectations. Thank you for the feedback. We always try to improve and offer the best experience to customers. We hope to welcome you to a more positive experience in the future. Regards, Customer Care Team
Great excursion, easy to get our tickets, no weight to get in, very organized, the elevator ride to the top was good and not crowded, the observation level is also not crowded, great views, and all directions of the places we had been visiting for the last two days, enjoyed seeing the the bells and the spiral staircase leading up to an upper level. Would highly recommend going to the Bell tower for a view well worth it.
If you want a great view of Venice, you got to do this. i do not see a reason to say more, but this review requires it.
While we appreciated a “skip the line” ticket, this company was completely disorganized. We were directed to go to a tour shop to get our ticket and the woman there told us that the tower was closed that day, and that we should contact Viator to receive a refund. She printed out our ticket anyway and we decided to go to the tower just double check. Well…it was NOT closed, and we hopped in line. Because we had a skip the line ticket we were right in front and ended up the first ones up that morning. Skip the line and going up the tower were definitely worth it. But I’d find a different company to use.
I paid for tickets St Marks Campanile entry with skip the queue. When I got there, the staff at the venue would not accept the ticket or allow me into the tower. They told me to go to the back of the queue (this queue was huge and in the sun). I showed the staff that I paid for skip the queue tickets, but they did not care and told me to join the huge queue. I cannot queue for that long due to health reasons, I informed the staff at the venue and I was again refused entry and they did not care. This was just the start of the problem. I went to the ticket office where I picked up the physical tickets originally, to get a refund, as the service I had paid for had not been met. I had paid for something that did not exist (no skip the queue) and I could not go up the tower because of this, or use any part of the ticket. The staff at the ticket office were EXTREMELY RUDE, I cannot emphasise this enough. They wanted to get rid of me from the start, they would not listen, they mentioned they should be at lunch, they would not provide a complaint email or phone number, they tried to blame tiqets for their errors, they did not care. In fact, Beatrice in the ticket office even accused me of “just not wanting to queue” and therefore I could not get a refund, despite me having clearly explained my health problems to her AND having paid for skip the queue service that did not exist. This is borderline discriminatory. They staff continuously refused to provide me with any refund, they refused to provide me with any contact details. They did their very best to not help me. I had to leave because I was feeling faint due to health problems and come back to speak to someone else. This person then gave me a form to apply for a refund (which was conveniently never mentioned before). I thought I was getting somewhere. They signed and dated the form and filled some of it out, then asked me to complete the rest because their English was not good (which was fine). Once I had completed the form, I took this to another member of staff, who for some reason said “we cannot let you have this refund form” and snatched it back off me. No explanation, again began trying to blame me for the situation instead. I paid for a service, which was not met. They also tried to blame tiqets and told me to contact them but refused to give me contact details for them. I tried to find it myself but none of the contact phone numbers for this company work, and I have not received a response to my emails. Avoid this company like the plague. Awful, dispicable, and borderline discriminatory behaviour
Dear Guest, Thank you for sharing your experience. We are truly sorry to read about the distressing situation you encountered. Please note, the access to St. Mark’s Campanile is managed directly by the official site staff. The “skip-the-line” service included in your ticket refers to priority access within the timed entry system; however, during particularly busy periods or due to operational or safety requirements, all visitors may still be required to wait briefly before entering. We understand that this was not your expectation. Please accept our sincere apologies if you felt dismissed or unfairly treated. Regarding your refund request, as the booking was made through a third-party provider, the request must be processed through them. We sincerely apologise once again for your experience and appreciate you bringing this to our attention. Regards, Customer Care Team
A beautiful meeting with Stéphania, passionate and exciting guide with whom we spent 3 hours rich in comments, anecdotes and discoveries. His very advanced knowledge of his city, his excellent French allowed us to travel through the centuries discovering that nothing in the basilica or the Palace was due to chance. Drinking his words, everything seemed obvious to us. Thanks again to Stephania for this very pleasant and very rewarding visit.
Dear Guest, We appreciate sharing your experience. We are glad your enjoyed our tour and that our guide Stephania was able to make the experience pleasant and enriching. We are looking forward to your next visit! Regards, Nina-Venice Tours
I never managed until, in the end the purchase....I was charged the same and the confirmation email was late.I made the ascent buying the ticket directly in the tower.very bad viator in charging an excursion with a page that did not work....and end up making the charge on the card. I'm very angry.
The Bell tower visit itself was ok. It is at a high level of Venice and the views are nice. The ticketing process was tedious. The company first provides a voucher that needs to be exchanged at their office for a ticket. The directions to their office is terrible. I wandered around for awhile before I could find it. The number on street is just not enough. They should additionally provide a Google map location. I gave this feedback to the customer rep giving me the ticket. Her response told me that she wasn’t interested in receiving this information. Borderline rude behavior. The experience for a tourist needs to be without hassle. This wasn’t one of those.
Self guided. Ample time to see the city. Views were great. Bell ringing was an added bonus while we were there. Great pictures too.
