Not a clean place. No private rooms to change. Make sure you get lockers and take towels with you. The water is super hot during the day and just doesn’t feel clean
Great day cooling off from the heat. Check in was easy despite it being busy. The whole family enjoyed the experience and would definitely return.
Excellent value, lots of choice with so many pools
So fun! We were visiting during a heat wave and the pools were a welcoming relief and suprise. Not too crowded and very few kids in the morning.
Extremely disappointing, especially for the price. We paid $1,300 and expected a relaxing luxury spa experience, but it fell far short. The pools were dirty and overcrowded, the massage therapist was disappointing, and the room was stark, dated, and lacking the comfort and quality you’d expect at this price point. Instead of feeling peaceful and restorative, the entire property felt more like a trip to Las Vegas—busy, noisy, crowded, and commercial. It was the opposite of the tranquil atmosphere we were hoping for. Overall, it was vastly overpriced and not worth the cost. I would not return or recommend it.
This place was honestly so gross. Such a tourist trap. Way too many people to be in pools. I was only there for 30 minutes and left. They also make you purchase sandals if you didn’t bring any which I would recommend because I threw them away after I was so grossed out. I would recommend doing research on some other springs that are available around the city.
It was fine, but I think it’s overpriced for what you get. We booked the Fast Track afternoon entry with a private cabin. The cabins were quite dark, with no lighting inside. There were several indoor pools, but they all felt very similar. Some of the pools also looked quite dirty, and parts of the facility could definitely use some renovation. We tried the two saunas, which were good but nothing exceptional. The outdoor pools were much better, although they were quite crowded and noisy. I imagine the outdoor thermal pool would be a much nicer experience in the autumn or winter, when the contrast between the warm water and the cooler air adds to the experience. I suppose part of what you’re paying for is the opportunity to experience the historic building and its beautiful architecture. If that’s important to you, it certainly adds value, but for the spa experience alone, I don’t think the price is fully justified.
Fantastic experience, loved every minute. This is a must. Will definitely be back for this. Bring towel and flipflops
We had a great experience. It was unique, relaxing, and a highlight of our trip to Budapest. I highly recommend you rent a cabin to get changed in and keep your belongings. We learned you could bring a lunch in and buy a beer. FYI- get there early because lounge chairs are limited.
This was a fun experience, but the buildings and pools seemed to be in need of some maintenance. The lounge chairs were also very basic. Be sure to bring your own towel and flip-flops or they will make you buy them there. I booked a private changing room which was ideal. Your wristband will open and close changing room door and/or lockers for storing valuables. But if you want food or drinks, you have to carry your card with you because wrist band does not allow you to charge to an account.
