Sky Lagoon was one of the highlights of our Iceland trip. My husband and I went early on a Sunday morning, and it was the perfect way to start the day. We upgraded to the 7-Step Ritual, and it was absolutely worth it. The combination of hot and cold experiences, the body scrub, and the purifying elixir at the end left us feeling completely refreshed and relaxed. The facility was exceptionally clean, well-organized, and never felt overcrowded. The lagoon temperature was perfect—warm and comfortable without being too hot. One thing we really appreciated was that there was no strong sulfur smell like you find at some geothermal spas. I also tried the Crowberry Martini, which was delicious and the perfect treat while soaking in the lagoon. The ocean views are stunning, and the location is much closer to Reykjavík than the Blue Lagoon, making it very convenient. If you’re visiting Iceland and trying to choose between the lagoons, Sky Lagoon should be at the top of your list. It is a must-do experience.

My husband and I had a wonderful experience, the 7 step ritual was amazing. We liked the private dressing rooms and showers. I would definitely go just to relax in the thermal lagoon, beautiful views.

It was okay. I thought it would be more of an experience. However you just move room to room Not worth the price paid. Beware of how much it costs to go from there to the city center. Very pricey
I was hesitant to spend this kind of money on a 'spa experience', but it was sure memorable. The staff at Sky Lagoon were so kind and let me start my experience a bit earlier than my scheduled reservation time. This was perfect timing and prevented me feeling rushed at all. The atmosphere is very relaxing and inviting. I found that this was more of an adult, relaxation spa environment, more so than a family activity center. Once you enter the main lagoon, you feel like you are engulfed in the natural beauty of Iceland. The lagoon has certainly been constructed, but instead of one large open pool, there's a bit of navigation, making you feel like you are on an adventure. You can spend as much time as you like in the lagoon, there is a bar and WC's identified. The cool Icelandic breeze (July) contrasts the warm waters of the lagoon- very refreshing and soothing at the same time. I did splurge for the 7-step ritual. You can only go through the steps one time, the explanation and organization was perfect! Even though it would be nice to experience this more than once, but I get it. By the time the ritual was done, I was able to go and take a shower and get dressed, I was very happy with how relaxed I was. I was also pleasantly surprised at how soft my skin was! The only negative here is the cost of the salt scrub. Definitely could not justify purchasing any of the products that I was able to use, while at SkyLagoon. The timing of my visit was perfect for an evening departure. I was relaxed when arriving to the airport, and it was such a great way to say goodbye to such a lovely country!

This is a must do!! So unique and relaxing! We did it the night we arrived in Iceland. We are a family with 3 teen boys. I didn't think they would like it and they liked it a lot. Highly recommend the 7 step ritual.
A wonderful experience with amazing geothermally heated waters and a beautiful landscape & facilities for a relaxing time outside, no matter what the weather. The 7-step ritual was beautiful and we really enjoyed it. I would strongly recommend going into the cold pool and then back to the warm pool. A wonderful sensation. We might have spent slightly too long time in the hot springs for we were pretty heated afterwards. Be careful of that.

Amazing experience! Can spend as long as you want at the lagoon and it is beautiful. The 7 step ritual was also great, can only go through once but can go at your own pace and spend as long as you want in each area.
Very nice place with great views. Easy to get around and the ritual was soothing to both myself and my husband.
We did all of the lagoons and this one was our favorite. The rituals were a nice touch and the views from the sauna was amazing. Also the only place that gave you a bag for your wet bathing suite.
