Really came here to get out of the cold and to try something different. Little place with some quirky things. The theme is about polluting the ocean and this is throughout. We enjoyed our time in there.
It's not worth spending money on. We weren't even in there for 10 minutes... wasn't so spectacular now either, but you could easily lock your things away
Very overpriced for what it has inside. Very small and very standard. Too much about climate and eco without any obvious connection to illusion. Standard pictures on the walls which you can print out yourself. App which explains every object is not clear at all, a lot of reading. Very dissapointing experience
Total disappointment. The name suggests a museum of optical illusions, but much of the exhibit is about ecology, which is not clearly mentioned. Many of the photos that appear here on trip advisor are not available on site. Excessive price for what they offer. I don't recommend it.
A visit to the Illuseum was worth it. It was very funny. It is good value for money.
what super interesting! for children as well as for adults! we will come back:) everything also made child-friendly.
Our visit to the Illuseum Berlin was unfortunately overshadowed by an absolutely unacceptable ticket sales experience. We arrived around 4:30–5pm and wanted to buy tickets on site. This was no longer possible online because tickets were no longer available on the website. We therefore acted as normal. The man at the ticket counter initially told us to please tell us that we had online tickets. When we answered honestly that we didn’t have one (we had tried, but we couldn’t), he explained to us that the museum was “totally crowded” and he couldn’t sell us tickets. At the same time, he pointed out that we could try another website online. While we were standing by looking for tickets online, another group arrived right behind us. She also said that online tickets had not worked. The employee asked only briefly about the group size: 5 adults and 7 children – and easily sold tickets to this group on site. My husband calmly and politely pointed out this obvious contradiction (we were 2 adults and 2 children and were turned away, but the significantly larger group was not). As a result, the employee became aggressive, talked about “exercising his right” and threatened us with expulsion, even though we hadn’t said anything rude. In the end, we booked the tickets online and were able to enter the museum – but the behavior before that was simply outrageous, arbitrary and absolutely not customer-oriented. It is not acceptable for people to decide on their own whim who will be sold tickets and who will not. The museum itself may be interesting, but dealing with guests at the entrance was cheeky. Such a thing must not happen in a tourist museum of this size.
If there are a lot of visitors, you can't really try the experiments. Nevertheless, very interesting: the reality is relative in our perception. Word should finally spread. Who then throws the 1. Stein...?
So it wasn't so good for because price I imagined more underneath. Too bad ... I can also go to Potsdamer Platz. There was nothing
We were in the exhibition today with our 10 year old granddaughter for over 2 hours and had a lot of fun. We were able to take a lot of great photos and will recommend this "somewhat different" museum to acquaintances. Sure, the exhibition spaces aren't huge, but we didn't feel negative about it.
