Overpriced for what you get. Although our accompanying guide provided good background information , we were never given the audio guides that were supposed to be included. We only had a total of 20-25 mins to visit Ellis Island. Two family members became ill due to the heat and they were not well enough to attend the 9/11 museum. Viator was not sympathetic to our situation and would not help us exchange the tickets for a different day. We lost hundreds of dollars! We thought by paying extra for a more reputable tour, we would get better service and experience; unfortunately, not in our case.
Nina was awesome and is a difference maker. Her knowledge on all the trip details was incredible! Thanks you Nina for a great experience!
Unfortunately we were not directed or given proper instructions and ended up buying tickets for the ferry again. We tried calling but no help was provided.
I have taken many guided tours in the past, but this one stands out because of our guide. Nina was exceptional. She has a great depth of knowledge of New York City and its history. She pointed out many of the more obscure facets of the city's buildings, public art, and historical landmarks. If you take the tour of the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island and the 911 Memorial, ask for Nina if you can. I have a much greater understanding of these places because of her insight. Two Thumbs up!!
The cost was overly expensive for the experience, The ad was misleading, I did not get ticket access to the actual Statue of Liberty as mentioned and several sections of Ellis Island was closed off. A terrible experience. I would not ever tour with Attraction4Us again.
Initial tour , ferry to SoL and Ellis Island and up to the 9/11 memorial was good. However, we did not receive (or clearly receive) the actual tickets to the museum. Our guide did not seem to be aware of we got this as part of of the booking. While the 9/11 museum went out of their way to assist, they ultimately couldn’t do anything to help. This is when I frat called the tour operator, who sent us back to Viator. This was not helped by my having connectivity issues as well as trying to find booking numbers whilst on the phone in a busy noisy ticket q environment. The ‘help’ at Viator simply resent the voucher we had already received which the museum would not accept. Eventually I did find the ticket buried in the Viator app .. but by that time we had to leave so though getting in to the museum. Had to exit almost immediately. This was very disappointing and, as I had booked a number of activities through Viator I’m now receiving updates email on a daily basis . These emails do not make it clear what event they are referring to to in the heading making it confusing particularly what having connectivity issues issues.. So in summary very disappointed !!
Guide never showed and site refused to refund money 0/5 stars would never book again. I ended up having to book what I wanted through another process.
Very educational by the guid.
New York the big apple the city that never sleeps, fantastic, vital, incredible
Our guide was great at knowing her way around and getting us where we needed to be. Everything went smoothly, but we felt very rushed for the first two stops. I especially wish we had more time to spend at Ellis Island. There was so much to read and see, but we had to skip a decent amount of it since we only had about 45 minutes between the time we stepped off the ferry until we had to be back in line for the ride back. 😕 We ended up by being guided to, and dropped off at the 911 Memorial and Museum, so we could spend as much time as we needed there.
