Big Island, Kona Hawaii Fotografo - Outrigger Mini Sessione

We had a wonderful experience with Hannah as our photographer. She did a photo shoot for my husband and I with our son in Kona, to commemorate our 10th anniversary. She gave us different location options and we chose a nearby location on the grounds of a hotel, which provided lovely views by the water and in a more lush garden setting. She was efficient and gave good directions, working well with our 4 year old. She was responsive by text, and accommodating with times to do the shoot, very last minute, on the day after I contacted them, which was the day before we left the island. The photos are beautiful, and we loved so many of them that we couldn’t choose only 10, so we got digital access to all of them. Thanks Hannah and Hawaii Family Portraits for a wonderful experience, and beautiful photos we will cherish.

Our experience for family photos was wonderful! Even our grown kids talked about how this was the least stressful photo we've had. I booked online thru trip advisor. Our photographer was great and checked in with me the day before. Our photos were ready within 24hrs for proofing. We love our pictures and would highly recommend.

We still have not received the pictures-- this was a gift for my parents 55th anniversary - We have been getting the runaround since we got back from Hawaii- The person taking the pictures did not even pose them - but told them to stand there , and only used the hotel as the back drop - they did meet with Austin, to pick out the pictures, which she was disappointed over. and still have not had a email with the pictures that we paid for ! Message after message. so disappointing --- want a refund!

Our family chose the 25 min session and it was perfect. We stayed at the Outrigger Kona, so it was easy as walking down stairs. They have so many beautiful locations there on property that we were able to use. The worst part of the experience was narrowing down 92 pictures to 10 because there were so many that we love. If you are looking for an affordable professional photo session while you are visiting Hawai’i, use Hawai’i Family Portraits!

I wish I could give 10 stars! WOW! The whole experience with Hawaii Family Portraits was excellent! The scheduling process was seamless and they were even able to re-schedule us when our flights were delayed. We met Loryn early in the morning for our beach session. She was cheerful, fun and lovely to work with! She captured fun moments with images that are beautiful! The proofs were emailed to us within days and each one was terrific! We were so impressed by the quality of the photos we received. We will wholeheartedly use Hawaii Family Portraits again and recommend them to anyone on the Big Island! Call them today - you will have photos to treasure and wonderful experience, too!!

Great! Austin kept the session fun for our small kids and captured some amazing images. The setting was convenient and beautiful and we had our images in about a day. Highly recommend for getting some wonderful family photos on the Big Island!

In advance of our 50 th anniversary, we decided to book a 25 minute photo shoot. Our photographer, Hannah; immediately put us at ease and shot numerous pictures of us. The setting on the lawn in front of the Kona Inn was perfect. Lovely ocean views in the background. Everything, including our decision setting, was professional and friendly. Thanks for a relaxing experience and we’ll be happy to recommend your services to others.

We had such an amazing time with Hawaii family portraits (Austin and his team) as they accommodated our needs and were very friendly while doing so. We were extremely satisfied with how the pictures came out and would definitely recommend if you’re looking for efficiency, positive attitudes, and great results.

I am giving a 3 rating, only because service was good, great even. My family had a good time during photo shoot. But prices are just crazy, too expensive. They were asking basically 1/2 what I paid for my flight tickets. We’re a family of 5, and yes wanted to keep some memories from there but again those prices were just out of reach. Got a 30min session, and could one keep 1 image for about $120.
