Il luau si tiene presso la bellissima Mauna Lani, Auberge Collection a Kalāhuipuaʻa, che è un'area storica dove gli antichi hawaiani padroneggiavano l'arte dell'acquacoltura e dove il re Kamehameha veniva a recuperare e lavorare nelle peschiere. Gli ospiti vengono accolti con un tradizionale Oli (canto) in preparazione alle attività preliminari con il cast. Dopo le attività, osservate come il maiale viene portato fuori dalla fossa tradizionale dell'imu prima di essere preparato per il buffet hawaiano. Il programma è completato da una performance di danze tradizionali e moderne Hula, insieme alla spettacolare Siva Afi (danza del coltello di fuoco) samoana.

My experience is like many others. So I'll compare my experience from other Luaus. I've been to several on the other islands. The highlights of what this Luau stood out amongst the others were the unavailing of the imu pit pig. It was probably the best tasting pig I've had. They also had games in between performances. The M.C. was very good too. If I were to critique it probably the lack of dessert variety. Very small choices. And alcohol drink options. Few things I went to order and was told we didn't have or couldn't make. But still great experience. Highly recommend

I’d say the food was “good” and the show was “good”, but the $230 price tag is absurd and absolutely not worth it in my opinion. For that price I’d be expecting something pretty amazing. There are so many other better things for that price.

Fabulous food and amazing entertainment. I was skeptical after reading some of the reviews, but the staff was very friendly and accommodating.
Find and play the games/activities as soon as you get there, they weren’t well advertised so we mostly missed that part. The show was very enjoyable but the fire dancer dropped his stick a few time. For this premium price, we would expect more experienced performers.

Fantastic luau. Best ever from experiences. Highly recommend. Super food. Small group with great viewing of show. Very entertaining.
This Luau had incredible food, story telling, music and dance. The fire knife dance was amazing. I have been to several other Luau's on the Hawaiian islands and this was a step above the rest. 100% worth the cost. Would do it again in a heart beat.

I was really excited for this experience as I read positive reviews on several sites. I've been to other luaus and this was a huge let down! The only positive thing was that the show and the performances were great. I saw their menu on their website so I emailed before making a reservation because my family and I have dietary restrictions. They assured me they had fish options at the grill station. They did NOT! When I inquired with one of the managers they went and asked the chefs to make some for us. After about 30 min they brought 3 pieces of fish for my party of 6. The fish was not marinated or seasoned. They told me to use the hot sauce, salt and pepper to season it myself. At this point I had lost my appetite and my family just ate some fried rice and grilled vegetables. Aside from that, there was also some serious health hazards with flies all over the hot food section and all over our drink and food at the table. Luckily the show ended at 8 so I had time to grab some food elsewhere since I didn't have a proper dinner. I honestly wish they had just the show option because that was the only highlight of this experience. The "buffet" was pretty mediocre compared to what I've seen. If you have dietary restrictions, I would not consider this luau.

The food was good and the entertainment was exceptional. The host’s voice was beautiful and all the dancers showed grace and talent when they performed. The show had a nice storyline of the Hawaiian culture. The preshow activities were fun, just wished we would have had a few minutes more experiencing them. Truly lovely evening
