Our first time to have this Suwon trip. It was an amazing experience coz our tour guide Mr. Simon Lee told us the story behind the fortress and the palace and about the temple ( buddhas). It was an interesting story. I did enjoy the trip.
Excellent trip, a guide to the extensive introduction of related historical stories, along with some Korean filmed drama from the story of the tragedy of the royal city of Washington to the end of the bright caverns, including the historical background and the humanitarian monastery along the way to leave good memories worth re-taste, also thanks to the guided careful service,
This was one of the best day tours we joined from Seoul. It offered a perfect balance of Korea's rich history and modern attractions. Our first stop was Suwon Hwaseong Fortress, where we learned so much about Korea's history, the Joseon Dynasty, and the fortress's remarkable architecture. Our tour guide Peter Pan was incredibly knowledgeable and shared fascinating stories that made the history come alive. After exploring the fortress, we visited Hwaseong Haenggung Palace. It was fascinating to walk through the beautifully restored royal residence and learn about its importance during the Joseon Dynasty. Our next stop was Starfield Library, a striking contrast to the historical sites. The library's stunning modern architecture and peaceful atmosphere made it a wonderful place to explore, relax, and shopping. Our final stop was Gwangmyeong Cave, which was much larger and more impressive than we expected. The beautifully illuminated tunnels, art installations, and unique underground attractions made it a memorable experience. The itinerary was well organized, transportation was comfortable, and everything ran smoothly throughout the day. This tour is a great way to experience both the rich history and the modern side of Korea in a single day. Highly recommended!
The itinerary arrangement is very classic, and very representative of Korean history and culture, the tour guide can also explain in detail and the arrangement of movements smoothly, very good day tour arrangement, the next time abroad will also participate in such thematic tours, very worth it and very meaningful!
We had a wonderful experience on this tour. Peter was an excellent guide—kind, attentive, and always making sure everyone was comfortable and included. The bus driver was also very friendly, professional, and made us feel safe throughout the trip. I highly recommend this tour, especially with Peter!
Outside Seoul, pretty places. Mixed between history, trendy and nature. You’ll hit all those different places in 1 day.
Through this tour, to learn about the Korean historical culture, guide to explain in detail, great, recommend to Seoul people can arrange this trip, it is worth it ~
Our guide Peter Pan was very friendly and told us some stories about the history of South Korea. We had enough time at each stop. Note that the destinations are not for everyone's taste; especially the caves have more of an amusement park theme than a historical, natural landmark.
This was a convenient way to see some of the sights just outside of Seoul. Our tour guide, Jeff, was helpful and friendly. Lunch was at the Starfield Mall and there were some vegetarian options. I had the tomato pasta at Bunny Pasta and it was delicious. Note that the tour involves a lot of walking, especially uphill, and there were parts that could be difficult to navigate for anyone with mobility issues.
Highly recommend this trip! Our guide, Peter, is incredibly warm and experienced, making sure everyone is well taken care of. Two pro-tips if you go: wear comfortable walking shoes and bring a jacket—the cave is freezing!"
