Very nice guide. Helped with everything. Everything was well planned.
I am 63 years old, definitely one of my most beautiful journeys. A big thank you to our excellent driver Munr who is a very experienced driver, very focused while respecting the deadlines for maximum pleasure. Munr is also very pleasant and very kind. His English is good enough. Thanks again to him. Eric

He was one of the most influential writers of the 20th century. 13. BODOMZOR We had an incredible trip to the Pamir Plateau. thanks to our amazing travel agency Visit Alya and guide Mohammed from Alichur ! From start to finish, Mohammed was super friendly, extremely easy to communicate with, and always responsive to our questions. He was exceptionally knowledgeable about the Pamir Plateau, sharing fascinating insights about the region’s history, local culture, and stunning landscape. Navigating high-altitude roads can be intimidating, but he was remarkably safe, skilled, and calm throughout the entire journey, which gave us complete peace of mind. They truly deserve every bit of a 5-star rating. If you’re planning a trip to the Pamirs, I highly recommend Visit Alya and Mohammed.
We did an 11-day tour Dushanbe to Bishkek in the second half of September 2026. The tour was great. The fact that our driver Mohammed speaks excellent English and has a vast knowledge of the region contributed to a very interesting trip, with a lot of conversations and fun moments. It would be hard to find a more personable person.
Driving on the Pamir Highway for nine days from Osh to Dushanbe is a once in a lifetime experience! The landscapes with glacier lakes, desert-like areas and peak Lenin are beautiful and people very welcoming. The tour is well-balanced with hikes and stops to shorten driving hours. But what made it really special was our driver Nurbek. He was just amazing, highly professional, open and caring, knows every nook and cranny, finds the best guesthouses (nika‘s homestay in chorugh was the cosiest place of all with lovely people and delicious homemade food) and has the best playlist onboard :) Wonderful trip! Booked the tour with Visit Alay and made the right choice, highly recommend the agency.
Amazing experience travelling the Pamir HW. Super organised by VisitAlay and our amazing guide Mohammed (who is an excellent driver, guide and even horse guide 🤪). Highly recommended.
We had a super good trip 7 people in 2 cars from Tashkent over Samarkand via Pamir highway to Bishkek with Mohamed and Omar as drivers. The trip was well planned and both drivers were fun, good, decent and spoke good English.
This time our Pamir road and Kyrgyz tour was very happy to meet Kanybek and Mohammed Alichor, the 2 very wonderful English driver guides, they are very professional, driving technology is superb, the arrangement of the sightseeing is endless, even though our poor English skills, they are still very patient listening, bring us both a pleasant and unforgettable journey, highly recommend them 2 people👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
I would highly recommend Visit Alay to anyone considering this adventure. Great people running the company, great correspondence and great guides. This was a fantastic trip with amazing scenery and things to do. We did the Dushanbe - Osh tour. Our driver was excellent and a lot of fun. His name was NuRash and he handled the roads well and knew where the best sights were. When we had trouble in one city where a hotel would not honor our reservation, he found a place that had very good accommodations and we had a great evening. He knew many innkeepers and other drivers on the road. They tended to help each other when needed, making things easier. The best was when we went through the village of Alichur, his hometown, we stopped for a party his family was having for one of his nephews. This was a great experience. We were accepted into his home and he got to see his mother. The roads in some places were a little rough. But NuRush was able to handle and tried to make it less bouncy. He also helped with the border crossings between Tajikistan and Kyrgystan. He handled them well, as it is military working the borders. He also knew how to work through traffic when there was some. Mostly when we were in Sary Mogul at a time when shepherds were moving the sheep down the mountains, but through the cities. The scenery and views from the road were amazing. These are some of the most stunning places you will ever see in the world. We also took short hikes which allowed us to see the environment up close. From the river walks, to walks in the hills below mountains, it was all good. This was an amazing trip with a great company. AGAIN, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
A long bouncy ride through wild & beautiful mountains. Sali Polotov in the Osh office was very helpful and friendly. Both drivers were great - good English, polite, considerate and helpful. Border crossings were easy and quick with the drivers assistance. Checkpoints for the GBAO permits were all handled by the driver. All accommodations were OK and food offerings at all stays were good. The trip is not a 5 star hotel but basic - adequate and OK - enjoy the wild beauty of the towering mountains. Most of the trip is bouncing along an improved goat path. People you meet all along the way were friendly and interested in the fool tourists. All in all, I loved the 13 days. Thanks to Sali, Kuba and Abdi! My pleasure meeting you!
