The guide was hard to understand guide and hear, no breaks, and little of Gami Stan covered. A lot of walking or standing.

August was a great guide! Just the two of us on a rainy day. He is a historian & a foody. And he showed me where to pick up the Ferry to go out to swim in Grinda! I got the layout of Stockholm & and lovely City Hall on Wedding Day! I was even able to find my way to my hotel with no GPS. Great morning!
Highly recommended if it's your first time visiting Stockholm. We both enjoyed the tour and we have Rachel as our tour guide.
Thanks so much for this review! Glad the tour made for such a great first introduction to Stockholm, and that Rachel took great care of you both along the way. We'll be sure to pass this along to her! Thanks for joining us at Amitylux.
It was a very informative and enjoyable tour. Our guide, August, was very welcoming and friendly and made sure that everyone was included in the tour, adjusting the pace to suit all participants. The references to relationships with other Scandinavian countries, both past and present, were well received. August was able to answer any questions he was asked clearly and succinctly with just the right amount of detail. We were particularly grateful for his final recommendation, at the end of the tour, for Pascal coffee where we enjoyed excellent coffee and cardamon bun - our first attempt at fica!
Thanks so much for this lovely review! Glad August adjusted the pace to include everyone, brought in that great context on Scandinavia's shared history, and answered questions with just the right amount of detail. And what a way to top it off with your first proper fika at Pascal, cardamom buns are always a good call! We'll be sure to pass this along to him! Thanks for joining us at Amitylux.
Michael was an outstanding guide. He has an in depth knowledge of Swedish history. And he is a gracious and pleasant person, concerned that everyone in our 10 person group would have an a great experience.
Thanks so much for this review! Glad Michael's deep knowledge of Swedish history came paired with such genuine care for making sure everyone in your group of 10 had a great experience. We'll be sure to pass this along to him! Thanks for joining us at Amitylux.
Michael was outstanding. Our group had a lot of questions about everything Swedish, and Michael answered us with intelligence snd vast knowledge while always being tactful (a lot of our questions touched on sensitive religious and political issues). Our conversations took so much time that we couldn’t finish our itinerary in three hours, so Michael volunteered to extend our time together, and when we were done walked several members of our group to their next destination. I would gladly go on another tour with Micharl and recommend him highly.
"Outstanding" and going above and beyond, exactly what we love to hear, thank you! Glad Michael handled such a wide range of questions, including the sensitive ones, with tact and depth, and that he was happy to extend the tour and personally see people off afterward, that's real dedication. We'll be sure to pass this along to him! Thanks for joining us at Amitylux.
Michael had an excellent knowledge of Stockholm’s history and culture giving us brief rest stops as we meandered the city. A great introduction to Stockholm. Our walking tour was an easy pace and we covered a good area finishing in the Old Town. Michael was very interesting and spoke excellent English.
Thanks so much for this review! Glad Michael's knowledge of Stockholm's history and culture, plus the easy pace and well-timed rest stops, made for such a great introduction to the city, finishing up in the Old Town too. We'll be sure to pass this along to him! Thanks for joining us at Amitylux.
The tour guide was perfectly nice and had many anecdotes however his monotone mumbling left me frustrated. I left after the first two hours and should have have left after the first hour. There was too much standing around in the sun for those anecdotes rather than sitting in a shaded area or walking. All of this could have been possible since we had a very small group. Viator needs to have a more professional guide
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that the tour wasn’t the experience you had hoped for. We’ve discussed your comments with the guide and will take them on board. He has received very positive feedback from many of our guests, so we’re naturally sorry that on this occasion the experience didn’t feel the same for you. Our small-group tours are designed to be personal and flexible, and we know that different guests can have different preferences when it comes to pace, storytelling and guiding style. We appreciate you sharing your perspective and wish you all the best for the rest of your travels.
Our tour guide, Kenneth, was very knowledgeable, lively, and we had the best time. The history of Stockholm and Sweden become alive. I would highly recommend him.
