Unisciti a noi in questo tour privato di mezza giornata e visita i principali punti salienti della città di Rodi e il bellissimo villaggio bianco di Lindos. Fai un tour lungo la bellissima costa orientale di Rodi e scopri la sua ricca storia e bellezza. Avrai l'opportunità di visitare il porto di Mandraki e l'area dove un tempo sorgeva il Colosso di Rodi. Quindi camminerai attraverso l'antica Acropoli di Rodi. Successivamente, continueremo sulla costa orientale dell'isola e raggiungeremo il tradizionale villaggio bianco di Lindos, a 50 km di distanza. Avrai più di 1 ora di permanenza per esplorarlo e visitare la bellissima Acropoli in cima, che è la seconda Acropoli più popolare della Grecia dopo il Partenone di Atene. Itinerario
Inizieremo il nostro tour con un giro intorno alle mura della Città Vecchia di Rodi, la più grande città medievale abitata in Europa. Fu costruito nel 1300 dai cavalieri dell'ordine di San Giovanni. La città medievale di Rodi è iscritta nell'elenco dei siti patrimonio mondiale dell'UNESCO. Se lo desideri, possiamo prolungare la durata del tour di 1 ora e puoi anche avere un po 'di tempo libero per attraversare il centro storico ed esplorarlo da solo.
Il porto di Mandraki si trova nella parte nuova della città, dove vedrete alcuni imponenti edifici monumentali costruiti dagli italiani. Qui all'entrata del porto si crede che una volta sorgesse la grande statua del Colosso di Rodi - una delle sette meraviglie del mondo antico. Ci fermeremo per le foto dell'area.
La Chiesa dell'Annunciazione a Rodi è la più grande chiesa ortodossa della città con bellissimi dipinti fatti a mano sulle pareti e spettacolari lampadari.
Una volta raggiunta la collina di Monthe Smith, godrai di eccezionali viste panoramiche sulla città e sul mare, e visiterai anche le rovine del Tempio di Apollo, l'imponente antico Stadio all'aperto e l'Anfiteatro.
Poco prima di raggiungere il bellissimo villaggio tradizionale di Lindos, il tuo autista ti fermerà in un posto per una fantastica vista panoramica del villaggio insieme alla sua Acropoli in alto. Dopodiché, ti lasceremo all'ingresso principale del villaggio. Avrai almeno 1 ora e mezza per esplorarlo e, naturalmente, visitare la sua famosa Acropoli. L'autista ti aspetterà nel posto esatto in cui ti ha lasciato.
L'Acropoli di Lindos è la seconda Acropoli più popolare in Grecia dopo il Partenone di Atene. E 'stato costruito su una ripida roccia alta 116 metri che si affaccia sul Mare Blu e sul villaggio di Lindos sottostante. L'Acropoli è dominata dal massiccio tempio di Athena Lindia, risalente al IV secolo e ha raggiunto la sua forma definitiva intorno al 300 aC.
È inclusa anche una sosta nella pittoresca baia di St. Paul. Si sostiene che San Paolo fosse sbarcato qui nell'anno 51 dC per predicare il cristianesimo ai Rodi. C'è una piccola chiesa costruita lì dopo il suo nome. Faremo una sosta per le foto per catturare questa splendida vista.

We had a wonderful day on Rhodes island. We were picked up at the cruise port in a very comfortable vehicle. Our guide, Aga, was very informative and provided us with lots of information on the history of the island and current life on the island. We started from the cruise port and made a photo stop at Rhodes old town. After several stops at different viewpoints we visited the Rhodes acropolis and then drove to Lindos. We stopped for refreshments and took lively photos of Lindos and the Lindos acropolis. The visit to Savvas pottery was also very informative and pleasant. The return trip to Rhodes along the coast was very interesting. We could see all the developments and tourist places. Our guide knew where to take us to miss the crowds. The tour ended in Rhodes old town where we had free time. We left the island feeling that we made the best of a one day visit. All thanks to our informative guide.

We had an absolutely fabulous private driving tour of Rhodes yesterday, and I can’t recommend it highly enough. Our guide, Nikolas, is a lifelong local — born and raised on Rhodes — and it showed. His knowledge of the island was incredible, and he had endless stories and information to share about the history, culture, and hidden corners of the island. We accidentally went to the wrong meeting point at the start, but Ellie was super responsive and helpful, and Nikolas came to pick us up within five minutes of us reaching out. It set the tone for a day where nothing was a problem. Since we were staying a bit further out, we adjusted the itinerary slightly to fit in a few extra sights, and Nikolas was completely flexible about it. The real highlight was when he ended up driving us through his own village — completely off the planned itinerary — because we kept asking questions about it. We got to see some incredible UNESCO sites tucked away there that we never would have found on our own. This was such a personal, authentic experience rather than a typical tour. Nikolas clearly loves sharing his island with visitors, and it made all the difference. We’d do this again in a heartbeat and would recommend this company to absolutely anyone visiting Rhodes.

Nikolas was a phenomenal guide!! Can’t say enough great things about the day… We accidentally met at the wrong meeting point & Ellie kindly coordinated with Nikolas to pick us up at the alternative location within 5 minutes. We had a fabulous day exploring the best of Rhodes. This tour more than met our expectations. Our tour guide, Mr. Aga was excellent. The tour took us from the city of Rhodes through the town of Old of Rhodes to Lindos and back to our cruise ship. Mr. Aga’s knowledge of the whole area was impressive. He also knew the cultural history, historical history and the sites to take us to. We saw the exact point where the Mediterranean Sea meets the Aegean from a high hill at the top of Rhodes. It was an incredible site to see. I am mobility impaired, and Mr. Aga took this into consideration at every every site we stopped at. He was very aware of this and made accommodations for me. He stopped for lunch at a place that was not a tourist area. The food was excellent. The prices were reasonable. We would highly recommend this tour as there is no way we could’ve seen all the things we were able to see on our own in the time allotted by our cruise stop.
