Questo tour ti introdurrà alla Tirana locale e al suo cibo e cucina tradizionali. Tirana, una metropoli urbana piena di contrasti, in cui convivono le cicatrici del passato e del presente. È una città in cui la raffinata e delicata arte dell'inizio del XX secolo si mescola a fredde forme rettangolari del periodo comunista, e nel mezzo fioriscono nuovi edifici moderni. In questo tour di un giorno, scopriremo alcune delle parti più interessanti della città combinate con un sacco di sapori locali, storie interessanti e gente simpatica. E, naturalmente, il tutto assaporando un gustoso mix di cucina albanese con più di 5 diverse fermate.

Dopo il ritiro la prima destinazione del tour sarà uno dei pochissimi ristoranti tipici per la colazione, o "Mengjezore". È qui che avremo la possibilità di assaggiare "Pace" una tradizionale zuppa densa e speziata fatta di testa di mucca o midollo osseo. Situato presso il "Mercato delle biciclette", un tipico quartiere locale questo ristorante, dal 2004 ha mantenuto viva la tradizione del "Ristorante della colazione" e Pace.
Dopo una colazione energizzante, passando per il "New Bazaar", ci presenteremo con alcuni dei più tipici frutti, verdure e souvenir albanesi. L'area del New Bazaar è una delle più interessate a Tirana, Shortstop in una pasticceria locale. Dal 1998 portano la stessa ricetta della torta Merengue. Per il proprietario, tutto è iniziato come un buon ricordo dai giorni felici dell'infanzia.
Passando dalla parte vecchia della città e avvicinandosi al centro città, noteremo l'influenza comunista sugli edifici e sull'architettura. È ora di bere un caffè e ci fermeremo in un bar del posto. Sarà difficile scegliere in quanto forniscono più di 25 diversi tipi di caffè provenienti da tutto il mondo. Certo, se vuoi suoni locali, vai con il piccolo espresso o il caffè turco.
Il tour prosegue nel viale principale di Tirana "Deshmoret e Kombit". Imparerai di più sulla sua architettura, stile e storia. È dove si trovano Piramida e gli edifici più famosi di Tirana. Next Stop sarà un piccolo negozio Made In Albania al 100%. È dove tutti i prodotti provengono da diverse regioni dell'Albania, portando a noi un mazzo di sapori e sapori albanesi. Presentazione di diverse marmellate, formaggio, erbe e degustazione di raki. È anche l'ultima tappa del tour e dove finisce questo tour.

This was an excellent tour to sample local cuisine and typical types of eateries. It was so much food, I had trouble finishing everything - so come hungry or bring a partner with a big appetite! The tour was well paced with a good variety of snacks, sweets, drinks, and meal-type food. My tour guide Aron was excellent, and I enjoyed hearing & learning more about life in Albania throughout our time together.

This is a comprehensive food tour in Tirana that you can't miss out on! It's long and come prepared if you are in Tirana during the summer season, it can be hot. The guide was exceptional, educational and so friendly! We loved the last stop where we dined with others over a huge table of food. This tour is a must!

I really enjoyed this food tour in Tirana. My guide, Aron, told me lots of interesting things about Albanian history along the way. We had food stops for a breakfast soup, coffee, boza, byrek, and then a full lunch of sausages, salad, and fries. I was the only person on the tour since others canceled, so I had a private guide for this amazing tour.
Our guide was great - very nice, knowledgeable, friendly, and fun to hang out with for 4 hours.

We went on our tour in the afternoon instead of the morning and I would highly recommend this as an option. Our guide, Aron, was clearly highly knowledgeable and able to set the tour to our pace. The tour was a great way to taste the food options that you see around the city, and have a chance to understand more about the food, and the history. What I love about food tours is that they are a great combo of a countries cuisine and history. Aron didn't disappoint he was able to share some of the local cuisine alongside the history and culture in an easy to digest way.

He shared the history and culture of Tirana while introducing us to delicious traditional Albanian food along the way. The approach was very personal, private, and friendly since it was just me and my friend, which made the experience even more special. What made the tour even better was how natural and enjoyable it felt — it was more like hanging out with a friend than being on a formal tour. We truly enjoyed the conversations, the food and learning about the city all at the same time from a local perspective. We highly recommend taking this tour if you are visiting Tirana! Had a great time tasting and exploring Tirana with Redi as guide. Communication before about timing and meetup was easy. The food was varied and delicious, and he also gave us options when possible. Redi was very knowledgeable about not only Tirana and Albania, but also other countries to give context to the history. I would definitely recommend this tour :)
