Itinerario
Riomaggiore is the first of the Cinque Terre and is considered the Head Quarters of the National Park of Cinque Terre. It is known for its historic character, dated in the XIII century, and its wine, produced by the town’s vineyards. Riomaggiore is not a fishermen village, as you may think, but a farmers village. In fact its typical dishes are a savoury rice cake and ravioli.
Manarola is the oldest of the towns of Cinque Terre. It is characterised by bright coloured houses, often celebrated in paintings. Here village fairs are very important, especially August 10th the celebration Saint Lawrence, where you can admire the shooting stars directly on the sea surrounded by the beauties of Manarola.
Vernazza is unique because it has no car traffic and has remained at its original state. It is one of the truest “fishing villages” on the Italian Riviera. Here you will enjoy a delicious lunch.
Monterosso is the biggest of the Cinque Terre and is divided in two distinct parts: the old town and the new town. It is located in the middle of a small natural gulf, where a the Aurora tower rises and is surrounded by medieval ruins.

The service was top notch! Davide was our driver and he was superb. He treated us to a day we will cherish. His knowledge of the area was great and he made sure we saw the best that Cinque Terre had to offer. We highly recommend!!
Our driver and tour leader was excellent, I can not recall my tour guide leader’s name. He took his time to explain the amazing colorful villages. Extraordinary experience. I will definitely recommend this tour.
If you have visited Portofino then the Cinque Terra experience leaves much to be desired. And Portofino is set to extract your cash too. Everything around tourist trap jumps out. Poor service, poor manners, attitude problem and restaurants looking to cash in with poor service and bad food. Place is over crowded and dirty. Not sure how Unesco provided the Heritage certification. Maybe if you hiking or staying over the experience will change. Won’t miss this place, absolutely over rated.
There were 7 of us on this excursion. We had a wonderful day with our driver and our guide. Our guide was very helpful assisting our family member with his walker on and off trains and up and down stairs. We would totally recommend this trip!!
Our day started excellent with the driver, Enrico, arriving on time at the port. He was very happy and friendly about the day ahead. We started with a beautiful coast ride with Enrico describing all of the sights. He had full knowledge of all villages that we visited. We returned back to the port in plenty of time prior to our cruise departure. It was for sure a great day of adventure, well to remember.
