Non c'è posto migliore per andare a cavallo di Farm Lands o la spiaggia più lunga, più bianca e più spettacolare di tutta Città del Capo, foto incluse. Chapman’s Peak drive, il drive è sul bordo alto della montagna e la scogliera inferiore sarà l’Oceano Atlantico meridionale. Questa spettacolare carreggiata ha richiesto sette anni per essere completata, al costo di ₤ 20 000. Road fu aperta al traffico sabato 6 maggio 1922 dal governatore dell'Unione del Sudafrica, Sua Altezza Reale il Principe Arthur di Connaught. Chapman’s Peak prende il nome da John Chapman, compagno del capitano di una nave inglese, la Consent. La cima che incombe sulla testa non prendeva il nome da un governatore o un coraggioso alpinista, ma da un umile pilota di nave. La strada è stata abilmente pianificata con il manto stradale basato sul solido e convenientemente situato sul granito grigio chiaro vecchio di 540 milioni di anni della Cape Granite Suite su una superficie di contatto erosionale (non conformità) sovrapposta da arenaria e fango del Table Mountain Group inferiore di 485-455 milioni di anni. Le numerose talee sul ciglio della strada sono state ricavate da queste rocce più praticabili del Table Mountain Group.

I like to book a ride whenever I travel. I liked the fact that they would pick me up & return me right back to the hotel. Booking and communication was easy; the drive out was pleasant and my driver Admire was friendly. The stables and horses were very well kept and I ended up doing a fabulous ride on a stunning wide beach. Would definitely recommend this to anyone who has any or no riding background at all.
Your guide is not on horseback. Leads the horse to and from the beach. Still, rode independently while on the beach. Very reliable horse. Guide took many pictures. Beautiful scenery, really enjoyed the ride!
The ride we were supposedly booked on was full, so we were taken to another venue further away. We were the only riders and our horses were not very keen to be on the beach but were much happier when we turned off and went riding along the track towards home.
The horses were gentle, the guides were great and took video and still pictures with our phones. The weather was overcast that day, but it was perfect for the ride.

This ride on ex race horses was simply breathtakingly amazing! Unfortunately, riders aren't allowed to canter on the beach but our guide Sam was perfect, he took so many pictures and videos while we were walking and trotting along the beach. Sam was really nice and considerate, he knows his horses really well and we felt save the entire time, even when we did a really nice and fast canter on a special path behind the beach!! To feel the power of these really fast ex race horses under you is so breathtaking. It was one of the best experiences I ever had!
