In questo campo di battaglia ci concentriamo sul campo di battaglia di Isandlwana e Rorkes Drift Battlefield. Queste sono le due guerre principali tra Zolo e Popolo Britannico. Nel nostro Battlefield Tour includiamo una guida che introdurrà le battaglie, la vittoria tra i 2 paesi. Le nostre guide introducono queste battaglie e gettano le basi per i dettagli che saranno forniti dallo specialista dei campi di battaglia nei siti reali in cui tutto è successo. Questi campi di battaglia hanno un museo che l'ospite dovrà visitare per chiarire i punti. Gli ospiti vengono quindi portati ai siti reali a partire da Isandlwana Battlefield seguito da Rorkes Drift Battlefield. È una combinazione di dispiaceri e vittorie per entrambi i campi di battaglia. My husband and I booked a full day excursion from Durban to the battlefields of Isandhlwana and Rorke’s Drift. Although it was a 4 hour drive each way it was absolutely worth it. Baja our driver was so knowledgeable and as we made our way to the locations she told us lots of interesting facts along the way as we passed points of interest. When we reached the battlefields we were met by our historical Zulu guide Thulani. Each location took around 2 hours to tour the museum and then the battlefield. Our guide really brought the battles to life, he was outstanding. Baja and Thulani were a great team and made the tour interesting and we highly recommend to book them together if you are going on this trip

This is a long day travelling from Durban, easily 4 hours but was worth it. The guide was excellent and very chatty. They played an audio tape on the drive there explaining the history and events leading up to Rorkes Drift. Fascinating story. If you have the time, I'd definitely recommend the trip, we even got to see giraffes and zebras!
