Il Birthplace Coach Terminal di Shakespeare a Stratford-upon-Avon è il primo dei nostri due punti di prelievo. Se selezioni il nostro punto di prelievo di Stratford-upon-Avon, incontrati qui alle 08.45, pronto per la partenza alle 08.50.
Un viaggio di 30 minuti attraverso la graziosa campagna di Warwickshire Cotswolds ci porta a Moreton-in-Marsh, il secondo dei nostri punti di prelievo. Se selezioni il nostro luogo di ritiro a Moreton-in-Marsh, ti preghiamo di attendere nel parcheggio fuori dalla biglietteria della stazione ferroviaria di Moreton-in-Marsh. Dopo un grazioso viaggio di 45 minuti da Moreton-in-Marsh, arriveremo nella città mercato di Southern Cotswold di Tetbury - una bellissima e storica località da non perdere. Le pittoresche strade di Tetbury includono i pittoreschi 'Chipping Steps' e ospitano numerosi negozi indipendenti, caffè, sale da tè e - soprattutto - negozi di antiquariato! Dopo un bel viaggio di 45 minuti da Tetbury, arriveremo nella bellissima città di Bath. Per prima cosa faremo una breve sosta fotografica alla fotogenica Royal Crescent. Questa imponente terrazza curva è considerata il miglior esempio di architettura georgiana del paese! I fan di Jane Austen e Bridgerton saranno entusiasti poiché The Royal Crescent è una popolare location per le riprese di opere televisive e cinematografiche del periodo georgiano.
Un viaggio di 15 minuti dal Royal Crescent ci porta al centro di Bath. Questa città incredibilmente bella è un patrimonio mondiale dell'UNESCO! Avrai circa 2 ore e 45 minuti di tempo libero per esplorare qui, con le mappe che forniamo. Non avrai tempo per fare tutto ciò che Bath ha da offrire, ma le visite alle famose Terme Romane, all'Abbazia di Bath e al Jane Austen Centre sono in cima alla lista delle cose da fare di molti visitatori! Non dimenticate di comprare souvenir e di pranzare anche voi!
Lasciando Bath, ci vogliono 35 minuti per raggiungere la nostra ultima tappa: l'idilliaco villaggio di Castle Combe, più volte votato "il villaggio più bello d'Inghilterra". Ottieni quelle foto degne di Instagram sul pittoresco ponte, ma non dimenticare di vederlo anche con i tuoi occhi! Una passeggiata attraverso il piccolo Castello Combe sembra di fare un salto indietro nel tempo.
Ci vuole circa 1 ora e 30 minuti per guidare da Castle Combe alla stazione di Moreton-in-Marsh, quindi sedetevi, rilassatevi e godetevi la bella campagna di Cotswolds mentre scorre. Torneremo a Moreton-in-Marsh approssimativamente alle 18:00.

Go Cotswolds is an award winning tour company for good reason. The admin staff were so helpful as we planned our visit, and both Sue and Lisa were very patient with my endless questions. Our tour group was smaller than usual and we enjoyed our new friends (especially the 2nd Jessica, added to our merry group of Lori’s and Jessica’s!) Our guide was knowledgeable and made the driving time between towns interesting. I felt like I had all the time I wanted in Castle Combe but could have easily spend another hour in Tetbury. We left the tour in Bath and continued on to London but our time there, and the helpful recommendations from our guide, made Bath memorable. I highly recommend Go Cotswolds to anyone looking to spend time in this beautiful area!

This is actually the second of three reviews for our three tours of the Cotswolds with gocotswolds . Our tour guide Elaine did a wonderful job of educating us about the history of the Cotswolds and exactly how it came to be. She was loaded with facts and tips about each stop and was very friendly. We did all three tours with Go Cotswolds, Secret. day in the Cotswolds and this one, all three were very enjoyable and well organized. Tour guides were knowledgeable and fun and took great care of us and gave us suggestions on what to do in our free time. It's a nice way to see the area and leaving the driving and parking to them.

This was our 2nd Tour with Go Cotswolds . Wendy, was our driver/tour guide. She did an excellent job of getting around the Cotswolds area on a beautiful sunny Sunday day. The villages we visited were very busy, but thankfully with our 16 passenger van, Wendy was able to find parking to drop us off so we could explore on our own. This is the beauty of Go Cotswolds tours. The guides provide the history of the villages you are going to visit for the day as you drive along. Then when you get to the villages you are on your own to explore, eat, etc. it is the best of both worlds. I highly recommend that you book as many tours with Go Cotswolds as your time allows. It’s the only way to see the Cotswolds! We booked all three tours that they offered in the Spring!

The tour was perfectly well organised. The timing was good. Martin gave us a lot of information and he was fun. I liked a lot the tour. We started at 9h30 from Moreton and got back there around 18h, so all day long but we got to know many places. We were a small group (11 people) and all of them were fun and puntual. The cost of the tour is adequate. I did it alone, but I think this tour is great for families (in fact there was a couple with a little girl) or even for couples and groups of friends up to 15 maybe.

I had a great time on this tour with Martin as our guide! Martin was very personable and entertaining as he took us through the last 2,000 years of English history while we drove to each stop. We had plenty of exploration time in each area and Martin was always there to welcome us back. It's very clear he prioritizes the safety and experience of everyone onboard. This company and the guides have really gone above and beyond for each excursion. I would love to come back with my husband and share these tours with him. Genuinely enjoyed my time and consider it very well spent.
