Nato e cresciuto a Bari, operatore turistico con esperienza decennale ma soprattutto innamorato della mia città di cui voglio far conoscere la storia, le tradizioni e le bellezze artistiche ed architettoniche. Questo tour ti porterà alla scoperta della città di Bari attraverso la sua storia millenaria e recente: dalle origini al culto di San Nicola fino alla sua espansione urbana in una passeggiata unica per i vicoli, le cattedrali, i palazzi nobiliari, i teatri e le piazze del centro storico, del quartiere francese e della zona monumentale.

I cannot say enough about this tour and our guide Francesco! Francessco is local from Bari, he took us to Bari Vecchia, the old town and gave a very in depth explanation of the history and lifestyle past and present. We also walked through many of its Piazzas with detailed explanation and into the Murat. We were fortunate to have a couple hidden gems revealed to us as well!. Great stories along the way! Very enlightening and worth every penny. Francesco is a great wealth of knowledge when it comes to Bari, I highly recommend this tour!
Anna is a good guide. She customized the tour for us and was very flexible. She did not rush us but gave us adequate time to enjoy the experience. She even purchased focaccia bread for us.
My husband and I spent three hours walking and learning about Bari with Francesco. He was so knowledgeable about everything from local lore to architecture, history, and food. An excellent tour, money well spent.

We really enjoyed this tour. Francesco was a wonderful guide sharing many stories we never would have learned on our own. Tour encompassed the old port, the old town and the newer area of the city. We saw many sights and learned some of the fascinating history of Bari along with some amusing anecdotes. Great way to start our stay in Bari.

Adriano was a knowledgeable and experienced tour guide. His voice was loud and clear for our group of 10. Some of us were quite hungry and he found a café that gave us focaccia to go even though it was siesta time. Learned much about the history of Bari through the architecture, as well as life in the old city.
This tour was a great way to hear and see the history of Bari .. we visited the main sites, walked the little winding streets of old town and watched on while the ladies made fresh pasta. My guide was friendly and knowledgeable and also recommended shops , bars and restaurants (at my request).

Francesco the guide was extremely knowledgeable about the history of Bari. If you love history then Francesco is the man to send a 3-hour walking tour with. You will thoroughly enjoy his company along the way. I highly recommend this experience.
