Tour del canale di Bangkok con Longtail Boat Godetevi 2 ore di viaggio in barca coda a Bangkok. Incontra la tua guida al centro commerciale River City Shopping e visita la città vecchia di Thonburi, una provincia indipendente fino alla fusione con Bangkok nel 1971. Molti dei tradizionali piccoli corsi d'acqua e klong esistono ancora lì. Sperimenta il modo di vivere locale, raramente visto dall'altra parte della città. Storicamente, la capitale thailandese Bangkok era attraversata da klong (canali), e ha guadagnato il soprannome di "Venezia d'Oriente". I klong erano utilizzati per il trasporto e per i mercati galleggianti, ma anche per lo smaltimento delle acque reflue. Oggi, la maggior parte dei khlong di Bangkok sono stati riempiti, anche se il lato Thonburi di Bangkok (che copre aree ovest del fiume Chao Phraya) conserva ancora molti dei suoi khlong più grandi.

Nice visit, small group of 8 people. however the waiting time at the locks can be a bit long with the heat.

We had a tour on the Chao Prayha River with Bo Bo as our guide. It was a very informative and interesting experience. Bangkok is a river city and the river was and is still, a major transport route. Not just staying on the main river, the tour took us off on a smaller canal which reached to the outskirts of Bangkok. Bo Bo had great English. The sound system was ok but at times I struggled to understand what was being said. Not Bo Bo’s fault though. He was knowledgeable and explained the sites and history very well. I would recommend this tour.

This is a great shorter trip booked via our tour operator TUI. Definitely an eye opener with the way people live in the canals. It was a small group tour which was great with taxi drop offs and pick ups running seamlessly. Definitely recommend.
