Dopo aver incontrato la vostra guida a Bangkok, recatevi a Ratchaburi per visitare il mercato galleggiante di Damnoen Saduak, attivo da oltre 150 anni. Godetevi un giro in barca lungo i canali circondati da case e vegetazione, osservando i venditori che offrono frutta, snack e prodotti artigianali dalle loro imbarcazioni. Esplora il mercato a piedi, assaggia i prodotti locali e immergiti nella sua vivace atmosfera. In seguito, visitate il mercato ferroviario di Mae Klong, situato lungo una linea ferroviaria ancora in funzione. Passeggia tra le bancarelle che vendono frutta e specialità thailandesi e assisti allo spettacolo suggestivo del treno che passa a pochi centimetri dai venditori. Lasceremo la città di Bangkok e viaggeremo su strada per circa 1,5 ore. fino a raggiungere la cittadina Mae Klong per vedere il mercato dei treni.
Qui prenderemo una tipica imbarcazione per raggiungere il mercato, navigando lungo i canali (klong in thailandese). Assisteremo a come gli abitanti del luogo comprano e vendono di tutto, da una barca all'altra: spezie, frutta e verdura, artigianato, souvenir... Avrete del tempo libero per esplorare i vicoli tortuosi, assaporare i prodotti locali, passeggiare nei dintorni e godervi questo luogo fantastico a vostro piacimento prima di tornare nella vibrante Bangkok.
Al mercato galleggiante di Damnoen Saduak è possibile ammirare un tradizionale mercato galleggiante dove i venditori locali offrono frutta fresca, cibi tipici e prodotti artigianali da piccole imbarcazioni. Durante il tour, potrete immergervi in un'atmosfera ricca di colori e movimento, scoprire qualcosa in più sulla vita quotidiana in Thailandia e scattare foto uniche dei canali pieni di barche e della cultura locale.

Jenny the tour guide was amazing but the train ride could have happened on the bus. Hella hot for no reason. We only got to spend 10 mins at the train station couldn't really shop. The floating market was better but them old ladies be aggressive. Tiger bomb lady wasn't trying to let me leave. I was like I don't want it, it stank.

Our tour guide Tammy was excellent and was great with our children. She had a quick Thai language lesson prepared for the ride to the markets. We learned a lot and got to experience the famous railroad market. She reserved seats for us at a soda / coffee shop that was within inches of the train!

Jenny, our tour guide, is a superstar. She really took care of us. She got us a good view of the train at the Maeklong Railway Market. And when we got back to Bangkok, she helped us get the correct subway line back to our hotel. After helping us, I saw her get a taxi for another family. Highly recommend!

The Floating Market was too faraway from Bangkok, the Canoe shopping experience was too short considering the time travel in the bus ! the prices are higher compared to other shopping centres in Thailand. The Railway Market is a must visit place in Bangkok even it is very crowded still an exceptional destination, specially when it was announced that train is approaching and shoppers must move their belongings away , tourists should mind the gab and turn back behind the red line. Sam the Guide, made our day with his sense of humour, his knowledge and ability to tell the history in a funny way, his passion and his generosity.

This was a great day trip out of the city to see the floating market and train market! We were taken on a large tour bus with wonderful A/C to keep us cool. Our guide, Sam, was so nice and gave us a lot of information about Thailand and their culture. The markets are definitely for tourists, but such a cool thing to see. I highly recommend doing this if you come to Bangkok!
