Itinerario

Good for taking photos I suppose. The wife liked it. It's not the real thing it's a fake city like a theme park. There is a restaurant near the entrance on right hand side the food was better than i expected and not pricey.
Thank you for your review! We’re glad you enjoyed the food and that your wife had a good time taking photos. We appreciate your feedback and hope you still had a pleasant visit overall.
A great day had visitingvThailand through the ages, all brought together in one place. Ideally rent a golf buggy as the site is huge, this gives you independence to go where you want and stay at each stp as long as you need, it also offers an element of shade. Although there's quite a bit of maintenance work going on , there's still a huge amount to enjoy. Also while its a tourist attraction, because its away from the centre and such a large site it doesn't feel crowded.
Thank you for your wonderful review! We’re delighted to hear you enjoyed exploring Thailand’s history in one place. Renting a golf buggy is indeed a great tip for making the most of the visit. We truly appreciate your feedback and hope to welcome you again soon!
When going to the Ancient City and you want to see more than just the highlights rent a golf cart or a bike. I chose the tram and had to walk long distances to see all of the sites. The Ancient City is well worth the trip. I chose to use the BTS SkyTrain to get between the 2 sites. Prepare to wait for a long time to get a Grab car to take you to the Keha BTS Station. When you get off at Chang Erawan station there is a walk of 1.1 km. This is the only time I have been disappointed in Bangkok. The walk was on torn up sidewalks and there was a an area more than a block long that looked and smelled like an open dump. There was trash everywhere on this walk. So unlike all the other areas I’ve been to in Bangkok. The Erawan museum was beautiful. The gardens and buildings were nice. You don’t need to plan to spend a lot of time here as you will be able to see all of it in an hour.
Thank you for your detailed feedback. We’re glad you enjoyed the Ancient City and the Erawan Museum, and we appreciate your comments regarding transportation and access, which will be helpful for future visitors.
This open-air museum is an absolute must do if you want to know a little more about what ordinary life in Thailand used to be like. You see how people used to live. Their houses, their temples, - markets (including floating markets) and there are countless very faithful copies of famous ruins. The only thing that disappoints are the eateries in the complex. You can choose from a few very simple dishes that are not really sufficient for a good lunch. Especially not if you are hungry after 3 to 4 hours of walking and driving as a nun Thai. Further in 1 word breath taking
Thank you for describing the experience as breathtaking. We are delighted that you considered the museum a must-do to understand Thailand's history and architecture. We are sorry to hear that the food options were not sufficient for a hearty lunch after your tour. We appreciate your honest feedback regarding the dining facilities and will share this with the park management for future improvements.
The open-air museum is absolutely worth seeing. You can plan all day. Buying a ticket online through local providers is much cheaper than buying it locally. At the checkout the entrance fee is 800 THB, we paid only half via OTO Trip Service. You get a voucher that you can exchange at the cashier without any problems. On site then rent a bike or golf cart, on foot the park is much too big.
My experience at the Ancient City was truly amazing. It offered a perfect blend of Thai culture, art, and nature, showcasing magnificent palaces, stunning temples, and charming traditional villages. Walking through the area felt like traveling back in time, allowing me to appreciate Thailand’s rich history and beautiful architecture in one unforgettable place.
Thank you for the wonderful review! We're delighted you enjoyed the journey through Thailand’s rich history and beauty. Hope to welcome you back soon!
This was kind of disappointing: fading buildings and colors, elephant rides and the smell of elephant poop, need to rent a golf cart by the hour to get around, and really not much to see. We were allured by the photos, and warn you not to be. The photos of this place are vibrant, but the reality is pale. We understand this was a replica, and that it is an amusement park, but there really wasn’t much. The buffet was included in our ticket, and it was okay. The indoor buffet is very bland—but the food made to order outside was much better. If the buffet area is fulll, you will be asked to come back later. They did have packaged meals and water to give to your driver, so that was thoughtful. But overall, if you are visiting Thailand—don’t waste your time here. If you live in Thailand, I can see how this might be something to do. This is the equivalent of putt-putt or mini-golf in the States without the mini-golfing.
Thank you for sharing your detailed feedback. We’re sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations. We appreciate your honest comments about the scenery, amenities, and overall impression. Your insights help us improve, and we will pass them on to the team. We hope you still enjoyed your overall trip to Thailand.
Enjoyable day out but a few things to be aware of. They have chained up elephants and buffalo and elephant rides. Not ok in this day and age. Also if you buy the tickets online, they don't tell you that you then have to pay for the 'free' tram, 80Bht each. The buildings are really beautiful. We went on the hottest day of the year and paid for the tram and had a good day apart from the animals chained up.
Thank you for your feedback. We appreciate you highlighting both the beautiful buildings and your concerns about the animals and tram fee. We will address these issues.
