What a fantastic experience! The bike tour with Fireflies is without a doubt the highlight of our trip so far. Guide Aod and his wife have pampered us incredibly from start to finish and created a warm, personal atmosphere. The bike ride through Bang Krachao, the green lung near Bangkok, was surprisingly beautiful and a wonderful change from the bustle of the city. Along the way we enjoyed beautiful places and ended the evening with a delicious dinner at sunset. As icing on the cake, we saw the fireflies light up in the dark – a magical experience. Just as we were returning by boat, a gigantic thunderstorm erupted. The return through the pouring rain gave the adventure an extra dose of excitement and only made this unforgettable evening more memorable.

We did not go in knowing what to expect and ended up having a great time. The highlight was the firefly's, but unexpected was all the food and local drink along the way.

Sugar was an exceptional guide. He was very knowledgeable, fun and truly thought of every detail to make the trip so enjoyable. He carefully adjusted each bike for comfort and was flexible with the different skill levels of the riders. At the first stop, he bought us a coconut drink and picked up some fish food for our next stop to feed the fish in the lake. He kept us on target for timing without making us feel rushed and shared many stories and cultural stories. He was incredibly prepared bringing out hand sanitizer and bug spray for us The meal was delicious. Some of the best chicken coconut soup I’ve had all trip and the boat ride to the fireflies was magical. I can’t recommend this tour and our guide Sugar enough. You won’t regret it

My wife and I just got back from the Twilight Firefly Bangkok Bicycle Trip, and it was honestly one of the highlights of our time in Bangkok. The experience starts with a boat ride to a lush green island just across the city, but it feels like stepping into an entirely different world — peaceful, slow-paced, and full of nature. The cycling route takes you through beautiful greenery and a lovely nature reserve, with plenty of fun little breaks along the way. We stopped for delicious sticky rice and mango, fed fishes for some “good karma,” and soaked in the charm of island life. A huge shoutout to our fantastic guide, Mr. Sugar, whose energy, warmth, and knowledge made the experience extra special. He and his colleague kept the evening fun, engaging, and relaxed throughout. The ride ended with a lovely home-cooked dinner by the river, which was the perfect way to wind down. But the real magic came after dinner — we hopped onto a long-tail boat and cruised through the river in the dark while fireflies lit up the trees around us. Absolutely beautiful and something we’ll remember for a long time. Highly recommended if you want to experience a completely different side of Bangkok!

Woah what a fantastic experience!! I signed up to this for the fireflies but there was so much more to it that I really enjoyed! We crossed the river by private boat, collected bikes, then enjoyed a fun ride along raised paths through beautiful jungle and gardens. We were given samples of beautiful fruit, herbs and flowers growing in the garden which was a lovely touch! Riding through the park was also fun, as was feeding the fish and visiting an observation deck. Riding on the island feels safe and comfortable, and the bikes are in great condition. Dinner was fantastic, some of the best food Ive had in Thailand and plenty of it! Then going out on the water to see the fireflies was magical - we were lucky enough to have perfect weather for seeing them. Thank you for making this experience so fun, interesting and informative, I would absolutely do this again!

This was a fantastic excursion! We were provided private transport from Bangkok to the island via boat and were then greeted with our bikes and taken into the jungle. Our hosts took time to show us edible plants and gardening, the giant catfish in the park, and a bird observatory tower with a fun photoshoot. We were then treated to a home cooked meal on a private terrace overlooking the river before heading out to see fireflies make trees look like Christmas decorations! It was great to combine an active bike ride with education about the island. I think my favorite part was feeling like I was so far from Bangkok when I was just across the river. I recommend this tour to anyone!

A fantastic sunset ride around the island and through the jungle followed by a home cooked meal and a trip on the water to see the beautiful fireflies light up the trees and come and say hello to us on the boat. It was a truly gorgeous experience and escape from the city hustle with fantastic guides. I will say that for the first half of the bike tour the bike path through the tropical greenery is narrow with a nasty fall if you don't pay attention. Not for timid cyclists! But the whole experience was well worth the money. Thank you!

Fine on time (fast taxi driver!) we arrived at the agreed spot where guide Sugar was waiting for us for the bike & fireflies trip. First, take the ferry across the street, to Bang Kacheo. Because we went cycling at dusk in a wetland area and mosquitoes like to sting me, I had put on long pants and applied 2 types of mosquito repellent with 50% deet. Guide Sugar had the in Thailand famous mosquito repellent of the 7 Eleven ‘in the pink bottle’ and sprayed it on us. Very caring! We took a bike ride on an ‘island’ in the south of Bangkok. Also called the green lung. Feeding fish is included, ‘for good karma’. And we got drinks and mango sticky rice on the way. After the bike ride we were fed, after which we were picked up by a small boat. We were taken across the water with guide Sugar to see fireflies along the trees (no pictures of them, just videos). Was very special! Also saw a bat hanging and white herons seen. This excursion is highly recommended.
