The lagoon is beautiful, although it was a bit wavy on the day we went snorkeling. The fishing activity was enjoyable, and our captain was very accommodating, taking us to several spots to help us get a good catch. However, I don't feel the overall tour was worth the price we paid. The itinerary lacked coordination, and there was little guidance on what was happening next, making the experience feel somewhat disorganized. The lunch itself was barely acceptable, and the restroom at the restaurant was extremely dirty and well below the standard one would expect at a tourist venue.
This tour met our expectation of combining fishing and snorkeling. The water at Blue Lagoon is gorgeous blue, clear and calm but Tanjung Jepun is murkier. There were some thrash in the water but not many where we were fishing and snorkelling and hence did not affect our overall experience. Our driver and boat captain were both helpful and hospitable. The place where we washed up and had lunch is clean and inviting. Overall we were satisfied with our experience!
Our driver was great and the fishing was interesting but we only caught about 5 inch fish which our guide kept. The snorkeling was not doable for myself because of the tons of garbage that was in the water…shoes, purses, bandages. They would wrap around you in the water. It was beautiful and what a shame they have no infrastructure for garbage and just dump it in the rivers and ocean. Then I don’t know if it was the seawater from the 5 minutes I snorkeled or the noodle lunch they provided but I got horrible food poisoning.
It was fun 1 day fishing trip in bali. boat charter is quite expensive so this agent seems to be fair and reasonable. I caught a big leatherjacket fish at padang bai blue lagoon area. so much fun with my kids and memorable trip. driver tapaz was friendly and so welcoming to my family and gave me fun time during 1.5 hrs drives on/off nad Komang, fisher man was also helpful and let us to enjoy fishing helping rods issues and assist to put a baits. highly recommend fun fishing lovers who visit bali!!
Driver, Tapaz was friendly and explain bali cutures ni ely and komang , boat captain was supportive and let my family enjoy the fishung and snorkling. Quite satisfied and enjoy the 1 day trip in bali.
Everything was super planned from start to finish. We were picked up from our villa on time and then drove about 55 minutes to the port. The drive there is already an adventure and there is a lot to see. Once in port we got our fishing and snorkeling equipment and then we went out to sea with our skippers. It started with fishing and there were several spots, we caught a lot and also big fish. After more than 2 hours of fishing we then went to the next spot, for snorkeling. The cooling did very well and we saw a lot there as well. Afterwards we drove back to the port and went for lunch right there...was very delicious. Our driver picked us up again on time and brought us back in one piece with many great experiences. We would do this tour again and again and can absolutely recommend it.
It was great overall. Some small caveats, the toilets where we change has little to no privacy which made it incomfortable to change. Also, the boat was a bit small. Not that is a bad thing per-se but mentioning it in the description will probably make others more prepared. Our driver was very kind and amazing!
Very lucky to have Eka as our tour guide! He is very kind and funny, and made sure we had the best day fishing and snorkelling. The lunch at the restaurant was also delicious, and we got to cook the fish we caught. If you book this experience, request Eka!
We had a good fishing and snorkel trip with Tapaz. It's obvious he knows his way around town and every shortcut - no map app. Snorkeling, there were a ton of fish and Blue Lagoon clearly gets tourists so the fish don't mind. We fished on the reef and trolled and got a little action. We didn't catch a ton of fish but enough to eat and then went to a local restaurant to cook them for us. Bali weather is unpredictable this time of year but we got back happy and safe and would totally do this again.,
had a very fun experience and the people were very helpful and accommodating to all our needs. even though the weather was not the best, we were able to catch plenty of fish and it was a very fun first time. snorkelling was really nice too.
