Hai mai sognato di liberare le piccole tartarughe in mare? Le tartarughe vengono a deporre le uova a Puerto Escondido e dintorni durante tutto l'anno, ma senza l'intervento umano solo poche di queste incredibili creature sopravviveranno nei giorni successivi alla schiusa. Partecipa ad aiutare le organizzazioni locali a preservare le tartarughe. Verremo a prenderti al tuo hotel nel pomeriggio per arrivare alla nostra spiaggia per il tramonto. Lì, parteciperai al rilascio dei cuccioli di tartaruga nel loro ambiente naturale. Ti riporteremo a casa tua piena di ricordi indimenticabili!!!

Itinerario
A Playa Bacocho, a soli quattro chilometri dalla baia principale, puoi fare un'attività entusiasmante capace di emozionare tutti. Riguarda il rilascio di tartarughe appena nate. Ogni giorno alle cinque del pomeriggio durante il tramonto possiamo sostenere la natura, quando arriviamo al campo viene spiegato tutto ciò che riguarda il rilascio, ci danno la tartaruga appena 30 minuti dopo che si è schiusa, ti prestano una zucca con dentro e tu vai in spiaggia fino al traguardo dove puoi rilasciarlo e lei dovrà camminare da sola verso il mare .. Qui è incluso il tempo necessario per raggiungere la zona dove svolgeremo l'attività, dagli hotel dei passeggeri.

It was a great experience. We learned about the 4 species of turtles that the group releases. The turtles we released were dolphin turtles, which were the most common type in this part of the pacific ocean. This is a chill and relaxing activity. Pretty cool playing a part in releasing the turtles into their natural habitat. Staff was also vigilent to assit with keeping the birds away so that the process was a sucess. Recommendation: Download WhatsApp for direct contact to the group through chat. The number is provided under the contacts in the Tripadvisor app.

Great experience seeing the turtles race to the water. Very important to regulate the care to maintain the different species. A good informative talk before the release and how they patrol the night each evening. A 27km beach that was amazing. We chose an English presentation but Spanish also available. The van trip was a bit longer than expected since we waited for some people for over 15 minutes. Extremely inconsiderate on their part… nothing to do with the tour.

This adventure surpassed all of our expectations. It is such a unique experience and one that serves a bigger purpose. All of the volunteers are so knowledgeable and you can tell they truly care about the work they’re doing. Highly, HIGHLY recommended.

I had the opportunity to do this turtle release tour in Puerto Escondido and it was a beautiful experience. We arrived at the beach in the evening, explained the process and then each released some turtles to the sea. It was very emotional and special.. It is ideal to do it with your partner!!
