I’ve booked Cpt Donnie 5 times now I think…he is an amazing charter captain. Hardworking, easy going, fun etc. he makes you feel welcome. Everytime my family comes down, we book him. You cannot go wrong. He knows the best spots and will give you the saltwater experience you’re looking for…whether it’s sunset or sandbar. Highly recommend!

Our private sandbar trip with Captain Don from Stock Island Charters was absolutely incredible and one of the best experiences we’ve ever had in the Keys. From the very beginning, communication was excellent and everything was explained clearly, making the entire outing stress-free and enjoyable. Captain Don was fantastic — professional, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable. He kept us in smooth, comfortable water the entire trip and made sure everyone was having a great time. Snipes Island was an absolute dream location and truly felt like paradise. The boat was fully equipped with everything we needed to enjoy the sandbar, including floats, a cooler with ice and water, and all the essentials for a perfect day out. Every detail was taken care of. If you’re looking for an unforgettable day on the water in the Keys, we highly recommend Captain Don and Stock Island Charters. This trip exceeded all expectations!

We had such a fantastic day on the water with Don. There were just three of us, and it ended up being the perfect, relaxed experience we were hoping for. From the start, everything felt easy - communication was clear, directions were simple, and we felt well taken care of before we even stepped on the boat. Don even gave us suggestions on where to grab hoagies beforehand! Once we were out, it was obvious how much he knows and enjoys what he does. He struck a great balance of being friendly and engaging while also giving us space to just enjoy the day. It never felt rushed or crowded, which was exactly what we wanted. The whole experience felt personal and thoughtfully done, and we wouldn’t hesitate to book with him again. Definitely a great option if you’re looking for something more low-key and tailored rather than a big group outing.

I booked this experience for my birthday and it was incredible!! Very private which I liked. Perfect amount of time and an amazing and knowledgeable captain who shared lots of information about the wildlife. The sandbar with the swing was so lovely, best birthday! The captain had a paddleboard to take around the sand bar and I loved it, I paddled around. We saw a manatee on our way out of the Marina, so cool. Highly recommend to anyone, Don was so friendly, knowledgeable, and made our experience just perfect! Thank you for a wonderful boat excursion!

Don was great! Contacted us the day before to confirm. Texted the morning of our trip.with pictures showing where to meet. Took us out to the mangroves where we could get out and walk around. On the way back, showed us some of the large houses along the shoreline. Got us back a little early per our request as we had flights to catch later in the day. Would definitely recommend

My and daughter and I had a wonderful time with Donny. Going to more remote places with less crowds and hanging out at the Sandbar was awesome! Definitely 10/10. Will book again when I come back.
