Avventura in canoa sul Canale di Beagle e sulla Colonia di Pinguini

Immergiti nella natura e ammira le viste meravigliose e la bellezza naturale della Terra del Fuoco durante quest'avventura naturalistica da Ushuaia. Le guide professioniste ti accompagnano in canoa lungo il fiume Lasiphashaj e il Canale di Beagle per 2 ore, oppure puoi scegliere di proseguire direttamente fino all'Estancia Harberton per visitare lo storico ranch e il museo unico nel suo genere. Poi sali sul gommone per Isla Martillo, cammina tra i pinguini di Magellano prima di pranzo ed effettua un'escursione di circa 2 km e mezzo sulla bellissima Isla Gable. Include il trasferimento di andata e ritorno in pulmino dal tuo hotel, oltre a cibo e vino.

Itinerario
Inizia la tua escursione di un'intera giornata con il prelievo dal tuo hotel in minibus. Parti da Ushuaia per il fiume Lasiphashaj, dove hai la possibilità di fare una gita guidata in canoa gonfiabile lungo il fiume e lungo il Canale di Beagle. Ascolterai un briefing sulla sicurezza e imparerai le tecniche di pagaiata, quindi indosserai stivali di gomma, soprapantaloni e un giubbotto di salvataggio in dotazione prima di partire per un'emozionante avventura acquatica che porta al mare.
Dopo aver remato sul Canale di Beagle, imposta la rotta per il porto di Harberton. Guide esperte ti aiutano a avvistare la fauna selvatica, comprese molte specie diverse di uccelli marini e leoni marini che si crogiolano al sole su piccole isole lungo il percorso. (Nota: c'è una guida per due canoe e i canoisti meno esperti avranno una guida nella loro barca con loro.)
In alternativa, se non vuoi pagaiare, goditi un viaggio panoramico direttamente a Estancia Harberton (Harberton Ranch) e visita i dintorni di uno dei primi insediamenti nella Terra del Fuoco, fondata nel 1886 da un missionario inglese trasformato in allevatore di pecore. I suoi discendenti hanno creato un affascinante museo che espone le ossa di balene e altri animali marini - ha circa 4.000 esemplari in tutto.
Dopo 2 ore sulle zattere, il gruppo di canoa raggiunge la riva e ha circa 30 minuti per esplorare la fattoria. Quindi tutti si riuniscono al molo di Harberton per imbarcarsi su uno zodiaco per Isla Martillo (isola di Martillo), conosciuta anche con il suo nome nativo, Isla Yécapasela. All'arrivo vedrai un pinguino di pinguini, dove potrai osservare, dalla barca, i pinguini nella loro tana da riproduzione. Con cibo abbondante e pochi predatori, la colonia di pinguini di Magellano ha raggiunto circa 3.000 coppie e cresce ogni anno.
Quindi continua il tuo giro in barca verso Gable Island, dove nel pomeriggio viene servito il pranzo con vino, acqua minerale e bevande analcoliche forniti. Sazia la tua fame con pesce al forno e patate insieme alla picada, un vassoio di degustazione di salumi (salame, peperoni, prosciutto), formaggi e olive. Dopo un'ora di relax, incluso il caffè, intraprendi una facile escursione guidata di 1 ora e mezza intorno alla splendida isola, attraversando le dighe di castori, passando per la costa e camminando attraverso una foresta. Quando raggiungi la riva del Canale di Beagle, una barca ti riporta ad Harberton.
Dopo questo bel pomeriggio, inizierai il tuo ritorno in minibus a Ushuaia, con rientro in hotel.

One of the best activity in Ushuaia. The boat trip to penguins island, trekking through the beautiful nature on island and canyoning will be a perfect memory’s of all.
It made me see with other eyes the details of that Otto Wulff building, it is impressive the details and the construction of it, as well as the history that houses the place
Do not stop doing this tour if you visit the area, and arrive at the Lighthouse of the End of the World is unforgettable
One of the absolute best tours we've ever taken! The guides were amazing. We learned so much from them about the history of Gable Island. The lunch was incredible. The canoeing, the penguins, the hike- all of it felt like we were in a dream. Would highly recommend this tour to anyone once the world reopens again (we were their last tour before the world shut down).

<p>This was a terrific tour! We saw many penguins up close and experienced the beautiful scenery of Tierra del Fuego. The guides were a lot of fun, very friendly and knowledgeable. After paddling in the Beagle Channel in chilly and gusty winds the guides prepared a delicious lunch while we warmed up and sipped wine in the hut! Thanks for making our short stay in Ushuaia a wonderful experience.</p>
<p>This was a really well-organized tour with two great guides. Spanish was their primary language, with the lead guide also speaking English. The entire tour was in English as all 6 tourists spoke English. </p> <p>To start, the tour company went out of their way to ensure we knew our pickup time--to the point they drove over to our rented flat and left a letter under the door the evening before. </p> <p>The tour started about 8AM with just 6 people. This made for a small group and only one canoe. We started by driving about an hour in the van to our launch point. We canoed for about 2 hours before landing at a small island on Harberton Ranch. This alternate stop from the regular tour was well worth the extra paddling effort. We spent about 30-45 minutes on the bay and watched two penguins goofing off in the water. </p> <p>Then motorboat ferried us to Gable Island where the company had a small hut. While we warmed up around the stove, the guides were out back grilling lunch (fish or beef). They provided plenty of water, wine, Coca cola, and snacks while we waited. </p> <p>After about an hour-long lunch, we hiked across Gable Island for a little more than 2 hours. The hiking was easy with little changes in elevation and a well marked trail. There weren't many animals to see, but we passed beaver dams and heard plenty of birds. </p> <p>Afterwards, the motor boat ferried us to another island Magellanic penguins have colonized. While this tour company was not authorized to land, the boat made shore, and we were as close as10 feet to some of the penguins. According to the guide, Harberton ranch allows certain companies exclusive access to various parts of the ranch, and while walking on the penguin island was not allowed we were still close enough for some great photos and videos.</p> <p>We spent about 30 minutes with the penguins before taking the boat to the ranch homestead and catching our van for the 90-minute ride home. The van dropped everyone off at their respective hotel/accommodations.</p>
<p>This was a fun tour, great scenery, great food and the guides were incredible! This one day made our entire 18 day trip to Argentina worthwhile.</p>
