Such a great adventure... We booked the tour, which had transportation included, and our shuttle driver was very prompt and courteous. Once we arrived to the location, we were able to use the restroom and browse the gift shop before leaving. Ernie was our guide and he was tons of fun! As a native of the bayou, he's a living historian, very knowledgeable of any and everything swamp related. He takes pride in what he does and it's evident that he enjoys his tours. Despite the rainy weather, he battled the elements and made the best of it. He knew exactly where to go to find his gator friends that were awaiting their daily marshmallow fill. They felt the vibrations of his boat and knew he was coming. It was pretty cool. The tour was nice and lengthy, and very relaxing. If I were a local, I'd probably do this tour monthly. That's how much I enjoyed it. If you're contemplating, do it! You won't regret it. The only thing that could've made it better was getting to hold a baby alligator, which we weren't able to do. Hopefully, next time!
Absolutely incredible experience! We saw lots of wildlife and learned a ton about the history of the bayou and swamp. Captain Jason was the perfect combination of entertaining and informative. Would definitely take this tour again.
Kenny was a great guy had an amazing time
The activity was fun and the instructure was great, the driver that picked us up had an ok personality but it took us over an hour to get back to the hotel because she started picking up and waiting for her next pick ups but since my hotel was at the end had to wait quite a bit. Overall good and would recomend just dont trust the estimated time cause ouck ups are a bit funky but the guide was great, explained the history, nature and even showed us a pet alligator.
My wife and I had a great time on the tour. It was so fun and we definitely got to see a bunch of gators!
We thoroughly enjoyed our tour and Captain Ernie was excellent. Saw (and learned about) so many gators!
Our tour guide was so knowledgeable and friendly! Pick up and drop off was seamless, and the driver was very personable. Despite the rainy weather, we were still able to enjoy the tour and see plenty of alligators. We were even able to hold the cutest baby gator on our boat, which was owned by our instructor (hi Fluffy!). Would absolutely recommend as a relaxing way to spend an afternoon.
The instructor was very knowledgeable the tour was interesting and great the alligators just swim right up to the boat definitely an experience
Many thanks to Cap Ernie for the lovely tour. Transfer arrived on time without any issues. We spend approximately two hours on the swamps. Captain Ernie explained without breaks, very interesting! In the end he gave us a small Alligator for pictures
10/10 experience. First time and I needed the transportation which worked perfectly as described. Tour itself was excellent and captured the intended goal of seeing the swamp and alligators up close.
