Allontanandoti da Siem Reap per esplorare il tesoro nascosto di Angkor con un autista dal tuo hotel alle 7 del mattino e visita la città nascosta di Koh Ker e i templi di Beng Mealea, entrambi Viaggiano fuori dai sentieri battuti per visitare le spettacolari rovine di Beng Mealea , che è stato costruito dal re Suryavarman II (1113-1150). Parzialmente invaso dalla foresta e abitato solo da uccelli, questo tempio e i suoi dintorni sono un'esperienza eccezionale e continuano per il distretto di Saem per una notte in attesa di salire a visitare Prasat Preah Vihear il giorno successivo. È un sito del patrimonio mondiale dall'UNESCO. Stupenda montagna-tempio che si estende per 800 m ed è composta da una serie di santuari, collegati da lunghe gallerie. Scendi dalla montagna e torna a Siem Reap per goderti il resto.
