Arrivo a Salamanca - 10:45
Iniziamo ad esplorare Salamanca con una visita alla sua maestosa Cattedrale, un insieme architettonico che fonde la Cattedrale Nuova e la Cattedrale Vecchia, accompagnandoci nell'arte romanica e gotica.
Visita a piedi: Visiteremo l'interno della città vecchia di Salamanca.
Visiteremo il Cielo de Salamanca, un impressionante dipinto murale situato nelle scuole minori dell'Università di Salamanca. Questo murale, dipinto da Fernando Gallego nel XV secolo, raffigura una visione del firmamento con costellazioni, segni zodiacali e figure mitologiche. Lo stile gotico e la precisione astronomica riflettono le conoscenze scientifiche dell'epoca. Sebbene in origine coprisse l'intera volta, oggi ne rimane solo una parte. I colori intensi e l'espressività delle figure catturano lo spettatore. È considerato un gioiello dell'arte e della scienza rinascimentale. Il murale evoca l'unione tra la conoscenza celeste e quella umana. Visitarlo significa viaggiare nell'universo dal cuore di Salamanca.

Arrivo ad Avila - ore 15.30
Visiteremo la città di Avila dove conosceremo le sue mura medievali, non per niente è la fortificazione meglio conservata al mondo. Lungo il percorso, scopriremo la storia di Ávila e il suo valore patrimoniale.
Visiterete il Convento di Santa Teresa, costruito sul luogo di nascita della santa. Un luogo ricco di spiritualità, con una chiesa barocca, un reliquiario e i ricordi della sua vita, che invita a scoprire la profonda impronta di Teresa ad Avila.
Per concludere la visita, visiteremo il Parador de Avila, dove gusteremo un caffè o un drink prima di tornare a Madrid.

Great service! The guides provided excellent information about each stop along the tour. We had the opportunity to visit the cathedral, admire its exterior up close, and enjoy amazing views from the rooftop. We also got to see the cathedral from a higher vantage point inside, which was a unique experience. The restaurant selection for lunch was very good, and the tour included a complimentary drink at the end in Ávila at a beautiful location—the Parador. The guides were attentive throughout the day, making sure everyone was well taken care of, and they even provided bottled water for the group.
Tim our tour guide was absolutely fantastic! Amazing tour of true world history! The intimacy of the 8 person bus tour with private guide was exceptional. It was a perfect mix of walking the two sites and the van ride to be able to get to both places in the same day. The Spanish countryside is beautiful and the highways are made for driving. Very good tour. Andrés and Nicole are sensational. They manage to integrate the participants. Being a small group (max 8 people), the tour is dynamic. The places we visited are wonderful in themselves, but with Andrés's explanations, they were much better. Without a doubt, we enjoyed this tour a lot.

Christian Zamora was a great tour guide. He shared interesting details about the history, made it fun and entertaining. He was also a great host. He also stopped when we needed to stop for a refreshment or the bathroom without hesitation. I would ask for Christian.
This was a private tour for us. Andres drove us in a comfortable ride to Salamanca and Avila. It’s a walking tour exploring both towns. We explored the gothic church in Salamanca and the first university in Spain. We visited the birth place of Saint Teresa de Jesus in Avila. There is a relic of the saint for visitors to see. My husband and I enjoyed the splendors of the gothic cathedral along with the scrumptious lunch at San Polo restaurant. Avila is a walled town that gives you a glimpse of what life might of been like during the 16th century and even before that.! Andres shared lots of interesting history and facts about each site. It’s truly spectacular! He was a fantastic specialist!
