We are 5 French adults and returned yesterday from a 2 week stay in Bali. We had searched on the internet for a French-speaking guide/driver. We have concluded with RAKA and are delighted! The word is weak. He phoned us in France several weeks before our departure to finalize the circuit we had planned, he modified it slightly (less days in Amed but extra stop in SIDEMEN) and we thank him for it. It was well received. You can trust RAKA with confidence. He is smiling, certainly like all Indonesians, calm, attentive to our comfort, perfectly masters the technique of driving in Bali which is sporty! He fully understood our expectations, the « instagrammable » places do not interest us. He took us to small craftsmen (salt producer, knife maker, puppet maker,,,) that we could never have discovered without him , the signage in Bali being non-existent. Our discussions allowed us to learn about many elements of Balinese life and culture. We had met a guide/driver and left a friend.
