This was an easy walking tour of four beautiful patios in Córdoba. Our guide, Gloria, was super knowledgeable about the history and the people who show their homes. A pleasure and a must do tour in Córdoba.

It takes you to visit some of the smaller private patios not the larger attractions standardly visited by tourists. It also provides interesting historical information regarding the functions of patios in earlier times, snippets of insight into the social history of Cordoba. So not just about the gorgeous floral displays, beautiful as they are!

As a professional in the field, I must say that I loved it. The last two we visited were very good; the rest can improve, although I acknowledge that the work of the owners is immense to maintain them in these conditions.

I'm sure the guide did his best but there seemed to be a lot of speaking about quite basic things. We saw 2 patios, very nice but nothing knock your sox off: the city has just as many nice plants and flowers around the civil streets and footpaths. Seemed a lot of walking for now much "wow".

During the Patios Festival, access and routes are also regulated by the city, which is why the tour combines walking sections with guided explanations between patios. Our guide took us to visit the patios of several houses whose gardens are open to the public. It is possible to purchase tickets and do this on your own, but you would miss out on the information about the history of the house or the owners or the gardens. In some cases the owner was present to answer questions or tell you themselves, but for most of them, the guide provided the information. Because many of these are private homes, they are only available for visiting in the afternoon for 2 hours. We were in the off season so we did not have to wait at most of the houses. .

We would also like to clarify that the famous Patios Festival takes place in spring, but the patios included in this tour are private family homes that make a great effort to keep their courtyards open and decorated with flowers all year round. Maintaining plants and flowers outside the main season is a demanding task, and while in November they do not look the same as in spring, they can still be visited and enjoyed thanks to the dedication of the families who look after them. It's a waste of time and it's very annoying..you go there you wait ...they tell you let's go to the next ...you go to the next...still other groups waiting ahead and you go to the next one ... ridiculous!!!! I would recommend to the travellers to scroll down on their own...to save time money and effort
You have to wait on numerous lines and due to overcrowding, you aren’t able to spend enough time at the sites.
Visits to the Córdoba patios were not as agreed and on top of that we had to wait long queues to see them when it was assumed that when hiring him we should not wait for queues. Last time I use this page to hire something
