This was so much fun. Our guide was great and passionate about what she does. This tour is very interactive, informative, and fun. If you're a LOTR fan, I also recommend the Wellington location, so you can see real props from the films. Highly recommend!
Fun tour for people that like movies and how they are made. Not a Lord of the Rings tour but access to gift shop that does sell LOTR merch. Also advertised “complimentary” video is ONLY if you purchase photos from visit. Bit disappointing.
We had already done the Wellington WETA workshop but had heard the Auckland one was different. So glad we did both. Wellington gave more history while Auckland was more interactive and glam. Our guide was amazing and had a lot to tell us as we went through the different areas. Very funny.
This was so amazing and George our guide was excellent and quite funny! We sooooo enjoyed this and everything was so hands on and interactive we really really enjoyed it

I did not expect the price was US Dollor when you purchased the ticket in New Zealand.
So much fun to go behind the scenes and learn about the movie magic that happens at Wëta! Immersive experience where you can touch and be a part of it all. The care, artistry and creativity is mindblowing.

The guide was engaging and at each stop had rest areas for mobility impaired. The workshops were engaging and fun.
