ATV Ranch Ride Big Island Hawaii

I would do this over and over again. Our tour guide Ronnie was absolutely amazing such good people he made it all the better!!!! The property is breath taking and seeing how it’s ran and getting to try the fruit on property.. amazing and an experience in its self. Crossing over to the ocean side of the property was just as beautiful the cliffs and ocean really tie what this island is all about and what it has to offer. Will be returning thank you!!!

We had a wonderful time! It was a unique experience and more than just an atv ride with beautiful ocean views. We also had close encounters with several different animals, which I loved!

Super cool atv tour - both mountain and beach front and lots of animals in between. Awesome, knowledgeable tour guides and surprisingly fun stops with fishing, feeding animals and a super jungle type trails! Highly recommend it!

We had an AMAZING experience on the WOH Ranch with our UTV tour. We fished for tilapia with freshly picked mangos, road through fruit trees and were able to try a variety of local fruits (mango, strawberry guava, papaya, mountain apples, soursop (my favorite!) and several others. We saw wild boar, traveled from the top of the watershed to the coast. Red was a fantastic guide and I cannot recommend this tour enough.

We had a fun morning UTV ride! We had been to the Big Island a couple times before but had not yet explored the north side and this was a great way to get a taste for the lush ranch area. The ride features fun for the whole family from letting you have a go at tilapia fishing to seeing their semi-wild ranch horses to great scenic overlooks. Would recommend to see a different part of the island in a fun way!

Really great morning - the views were outstanding & the trip through the property was amazing. We saw cattle, wild horses, birds & spectacular scenery!

FIshing in the fish ponds was a fun way to start this adventure. Traveling around the ranch on the two seater ATVs was loads of fun. We stopped a few times so Ronson, our lead guide, could pick some fresh fruit off the trees. As a Native Hawaiian, Ronson added great information about the ahupua'a land management system. He also shared stories about how local Hawaiians helped each other during the recent devastating kona lows. The animals - geese, cows, dogs and horses - on the ride were great to see, too. The stop back at the meeting house was a great way to enjoy some fresh local fruit - papaya, guava, pineapple and others were great. We even got to take the leftovers home. The trip to the shoreline was a great opportunity to see where the locals fish. Ronson shared some great recipe ideas. Red, our second guide, was also very informative and gave a great balance to Ronson as Red has only been on island for 5 months. Overall, an amazing experience. I'd HIGHLY recommend this visit to the ranch.

Just wow! Ronson and Red were absolutely incredible tour guides! From their extensive knowledge base and friendly and welcoming attitude to their knowledge of the land and stories they shared, the experience was absolutely amazing! We got to try fruits, see gorgeous lookout points and even fish on a tilapia farm. We all loved the experience and would absolutely do it again!

The ATV tour was great! We had a lot of fun and got some beautiful views. The tour guides, Red and we unfortunately forget the other young man's name taught us a lot about the flora of hawaii. Seeing all the animals, ranch and wild was exciting. When we went down by the shore we were lucky enough to catch a glimpse of some whale spouts and even saw one dive. This was our only whale spotting our whole trip. Even though it was rainy and foggy the clouds blew past for a brief moment and we could spot the Waipi'o waterfall. Overall a great trip. Also really enjoyed fishing at the tilapia ponds!
