Itinerario

180 min

Short drive on quad bikes, the attraction was strange, consisted of a mix of naked statues and crystals.

Bring water, and money for entry. Good view over Cusco. Odd attraction, didnt get muxh of an explanation of what it was as guide spoke little to no english

We had a great time! Lots of laughs and beautiful scenery.

I read a lot of bad reviews about this tour, so was hesitant, but we had an absolute blast! Keep in mind you are in Cusco, Peru, not Disneyland. The culture here is beautiful and the people so amazing and happy! The views while riding were spectacular and the sculpture park we rode to was awesome. Lots of photo opportunities and our guide was so patient with us! Lots of laughs! Don’t always believe the bad reviews, some people la expectations in other countries is just too much. This was a great, local tour with local people and towns!

ATV’s Through a Landfill

If I could give it less than one star, I would. The description of the tour says just enough to not technically be lying to you but everything about it was an absolute scam. First, the tour begins out of the guide’s garage on a trash filled side road - expert tip, if you need to use the bathroom before you begin the excursion, don’t. The “safety” equipment is unable to be individually fit, and they are not even for ATV’s. My own helmet was a horseback riding helmet with no ability to tighten. The “safety” instruction detailed in the description was our guide who spoke very limited English telling us how to break and how to turn left and right. We had three ATVs : one with a singular side mirror, and one with no side mirrors at all. The ATVs come with front and rear breaks - none of the rear breaks in our group worked which we did not know until we began our ride. The tour consists of a drive up a gravel neighborhood street to a roadside attraction still under construction featuring plaster sculptures of Incan faces, more trash, and a big push by our guide to buy VIP tickets to walk through the “exhibit”. After saying no to entering, you’ll make your way through a landfill to take a picture standing on your ATV with mountains barely visible in the background and end with the same ride back down the street to the guide’s garage - all together totaling less than 45 minutes of actual ATV riding. At the end, when you are delivered back to the Plaza where you were picked up at the start of your excursion you may feel like calling the guide a crook for scamming you out of your money to which he will smile and laugh before driving off.

Disappointing and not as described

We did not go to the area described. The trip there ended up being on bus that took 1.5 hours instead of 30 minutes. Kids were promised their own ATVs but they couldn’t ride them because we were driving on roads, not in an open area. We never saw the area in the pictures online.

Awful, my worst experience in Cusco. Avoid it at all costs

Absolutely terrible, it’s a bad joke. The whole thing is very unprofessional. You won’t be picked up from your hotel. Duration is not 3 hours. The ATV route is not 1,5 hours, as advertised: It’s 2x15 minutes on a dusty construction road with 15 km/h. It’s really bad, nothing as advertised. Do yourself a favor and skip the theme park, too, it’s not worth it. Go book something else.

Could have been much better

Disappointing Experience – Missed the Main Attraction We were really looking forward to this tour, but unfortunately, it didn’t meet expectations. To start, we were picked up late and had difficulty locating our driver, even though pickup was supposed to be at our hotel. When we arrived at the ATVs, there were only 8 available even though we paid for 9 participants. One of us had to double up, which we were okay with, but it was not what we paid for. None of the helmets had visors, so dust and dirt constantly blew directly into our eyes while riding—very uncomfortable and potentially unsafe. When we reached the site, the guide mentioned that the area was “optional,” but never clearly explained where we actually were. We had booked this tour specifically to see the Abode of the Gods. We asked if it was coming up in 20 minutes and the guide confirmed, but after a 20-minute ride we were brought to a scenic overlook. My daughter asked if this was the Abode of the Gods, and the guide said yes. We assumed maybe it was further down the trail, but instead we were told to get back on the ATVs and head back. We never saw what we came for—the main highlight of the tour was completely missed. The guide was difficult to understand, which added to the confusion. Some of the ATVs were in poor condition; the one I used had a broken front brake lever, which I chose to ride myself because I didn’t feel safe letting my kids use it. During the tour, the guide also picked up extra passengers, which we didn’t mind too much, but it made the ride cramped. Overall, it felt disorganized, unsafe in parts, and ultimately we didn’t get what we paid for. Really disappointed we missed the Abode of the Gods. Would not recommend this tour based on our experiece.

This experience needs an...

This experience needs an upgrade. ATVs were not in good condition, helmets not suitable for ATVs (they were very old worn out climbing helmets), we decided to turn around half way through the outing.

My tour guide was great. I felt safe and he was a great photographer. He made sure I felt safe driving the 4 wheeler before we took off.
