Inizia ad Arashiyama, dove passeggerai attraverso l'iconico boschetto di bambù, attraverserai il pittoresco ponte Togetsukyo ed esplorerai il famoso giardino del Tempio Tenryu-ji. Itinerario
Incontra la tua guida e la stazione JR di Kyoto e inizia il tuo viaggio verso la stazione di Arashiyama. Esplora l'area di Arashiyama con la tua guida seguita dalla prima tappa, il Tempio Tenryuji. Costruito nel 1339 da Takauji Ashikaga.
Dopo aver trascorso un po' di tempo al tempio, attraverseremo il boschetto di bambù fino al ponte Togetsukyo. Il ponte Togetsukyo è un punto di riferimento nell'area di Arashiyama da oltre 400 anni. Un ponte di legno che attraversa il fiume Katsuragawa di fronte ad Arashiyama offre una vista meravigliosa. È l'ora di pranzo! Ci sono molti ristoranti e bancarelle di cibo lungo il fiume. Puoi sederti in un ristorante o provare diversi tipi di cibo da strada. Se finisci il pranzo prima dell'orario della riunione, puoi acquistare souvenir nella vivace via dello shopping.

Andremo al Tempio Ryoanji e visiteremo il famoso giardino roccioso dopo l'esperienza. I tradizionali giardini giapponesi a secco nascondono dialoghi Zen astratti all'interno del paesaggio, alcuni addirittura presentano ricreazioni in pietra di scene famose della storia giapponese.
L'ultima tappa del nostro viaggio è Kinkakuji. Il nome ufficiale è Rokuonji ed è un tempio Zen. È uno degli edifici più popolari di Kyoto ed è visitato ogni anno da numerosi turisti. Si tratta di un complesso costituito da giardini ed edifici incentrati attorno al Padiglione d'Oro centrale e si dice che ricordi un paradiso terrestre.

Justin was waiting to meet us and we ended up being the only people signed up for the tour, so we got a wonderful private tour. We traveled by trains, bus, walking, etc to 3 amazing places. We could not have gotten to all those places on our own, but Justin seamlessly led us around to lovely places outside the city center. Justin spoke perfect English and very good Japanese. He even gave us lots of suggestions for food and things to do when we go to our next destination. Thank you to Justin and Snow Monkey Resorts. We booked about 7 tours with Snow Monkey and they were all wonderful.

This was a phenomenal tour. The guide Justin was incredibly knowledgeable about all the destinations we went too. And he always answered our questions whether about the history or culture. Great lunch spot, cold noodles on a hot day! There were times to rest if you needed too or grab a drink in the hot weather.
