Questo è un tour gastronomico in cui passeggiamo attraverso alcune parti non turistiche di Atene, esplorando la ricca storia culinaria che ha influenzato la nostra cultura e tradizioni. Il nostro viaggio inizia alla stazione della metropolitana Panepistimio, piazza Korai, dove incontriamo un chiosco tradizionale per Koulouri, considerato il greco per fare colazione. Ad ogni tappa, condividerò la storia di fondo del prodotto o del pasto, evidenziando il suo ruolo significativo nella nostra cucina nel corso della storia. Lungo la strada, ci si può aspettare aneddoti interessanti e divertenti che si aggiungono all'esperienza. Uno dei punti salienti del tour include la visita della prima pasticceria della città, istituita dopo l'indipendenza greca. Qui, avremo il piacere di gustare le tradizionali ciambelle in stile greco.

She was genuinely amazing. So kind, so cool, so smart, so beautiful, took us to some of the coolest spots and hidden gems I’ve seen on the trip. A tour that was fun without being exhausting in the heat. It is her passion and she’s so good at it. Highly recommend!
Our family had a wonderful time on this tour - kids (14 and 18) say it was a highlight of the entire trip! Anna and George were wonderful hosts and tour guides, weaving together history of cuisine with history of the country. We tasted meats, seafood, olives, honey, doughnuts, pies and tea - a very tasty, educational and all around wonderful experience. To our delight, our family of 4 was joined for the tour by two locals living in Athens. Communication from the hosts was excellent. Really, can't say enough good things about this tour - 10/10 recommend!!
Anna was such a lovely host to my family on our street food tour. She gave some history of Athens, as well as taking us to many local eats that her and her family have eaten for many years. The food we ate while in the tour was delicious! We had a great variety of sweet and savory foods. We visited a spice shop, the Municipal Market, Olive tasting, and many restaurants. This tour was full of hidden gems we would have never visited on our own! She also gave us great recommendations of places to try on our own time.
I brought my 18-year old daughter and her friend on this amazing experience. I cannot recommend it enough. Our co-guides were so kind and also wonderfully informative.
