We had a wonderful tour with Mr. Omar (guide) and Ms. Sayed (driver). Everything was on time and organized, very informative and gave us plenty of time to explore the site on our own. Definitely recommend this trip and the visit to see glass blowing and essential oil making at the end.

Aida was a fantastic guide for the sites around Aswan. She was very knowledgeable, kind, professional, and does not rush you when you want to roam by yourself. Additionally she is a great conversationalist to put you at ease, which is great if the (sometimes a little chaotic!) experience of sightseeing in Egypt makes you at all nervous. Highly recommended.

We had Michael as our guide. He made the experience wonderful. He is funny, highly knowledgeable and allowed us to be flexible. He taught us so much about the areas we visited and Aswan in general. My husband and I couldn't have asked for a better guide. The Philae temple was amazing. And highly recommend asking for Michael.

Aida was a fantastic tour guide who showed us all around Aswan. The High Dam and Philae temple were both great. I would definitely recommend taking the boat to the Nubian village.

Michael what’s apped the night before to confirm, which I always like. I had changed the pick up point from the hotel to the Nour el Nil cruise port. I was worried he wouldn’t find it but he did. He arrived on time with his driver and then we started the tour. The driver looked after our suitcases in the boot of his car whilst we walked around. Michael spoke perfect English with an American accent. Very easy to understand, unlike some of the guides. A very nice guy. First stop was the dam which was very interesting. Then went on a small boat to the Philae temple which was very interesting as well. We drove past the unfinished obelisk and chose not to walk about. Michael was full of information but to be honest we only wanted the highlights! I asked if there would be time for us to have a cocktail at the Old Cataract Hotel. We dropped Michael off and the driver picked us up 45 minutes later. The cocktails were very expensive!The driver then took us to the ferry to go across to Elephantine Island. Michael would be my guide of choice for any of the tours. I would definitely recommend this tour if you are in Aswan .

It is not 5-6 hours. Only 3 hours. I chose the 12:00pm option they have but then the guide texted me to ask to change to 10am. I obviously declined because if it worked for my schedule, I would have chosen it myself. Moreover, instead of really touring us the place, the tour guide tried to sell us so many things such as a cartouche made by her. She insisted on taking us to the spice and perfume shops to sell again even though I already declined at least twice. She definitely wasn’t very happy with that - but for god’s sake, I specifally chose to book a tour on Viator to give me a break from those selling schemes. Save your time and money (the prices doesn’t even include ticket entrance fees by the way). The only star that I gave to them is for the fact that I did visit unfinished obelisk, high dam and Philae temple.
