Avventura sui tubi di Asheville

Descrizione

AAC staff was awesome! We had a great day floating the river, even in some rain. While not on our original reservation we added a cooler float to hold snacks and drinks, which was also a great spot to stow sandals while we enjoyed time on the water.
Let me start with the positive the staff was nice. The rest of the experience was AWFUL . The water is nasty with NO actual movement. The scenery was highway and homeless watching us struggle to paddle the river. I would never recommend this adventure.
Thought I would see some nice country side but it was motorways and factories all the way. Also too slow would have got off after ten minutes if I could have.
This was a really nice refreshing experience. It took us approx 3.5 hrs to tube the whole area. The one thing I would add is if they tell you don't forget the sun screen and you dnt have any purchase some. We dnt tnk we would need it being in the water and oh boy we are paying with a sunburn today. lesson leaelrned. We will def go back to tube again in the future with sunscreen of course.
Wry poor safety standards. Dangerous metal in river, should have told us to stay in tube. Mentioned this upon return and was met with attitude. Had to bring a family member to the emergency care for a tetanus shot afterwards. Next day did not cancel whitewater rafting even though weather clearly said sever thunderstorms and wind. We had to cancel ourselves.
We had a blast and can't wait to do it again! Found with AAdvantage miles! Blake help us in and out - we're old but the Team made us feel like teenagers ;)
Was best!!!! was one of the best clothes I’ve ever experienced in Asheville . The water was amazing.
The area should be cleaned up a bit. Especially, at the last stop. When you get out of your tube, the river bottom is full of uneven rocks and there are some taller rocks and sticks that you can't see through the water that will scrape your leg. Also, more money should be put into cleaning and maintaining the tubes. A stick was pointing g out of the water and we tried to avoid it, but couldn't. The strap to one of the tubes broke in half and we weren't connected anymore.
We had such a good time on our tubing trip. Check-in was easy, they sent you the waivers online ahead of time and there is place to store your car key and/or small valuables, if needed. Once you were ready and it was time, you were given a brief description of what to expect and where to go on the river. Ask for a cooler tube if you are bringing a small cooler. Wear plenty of sunscreen, bring some drinks, a hat, and have a relaxing time on the French Broad River. Our trip took us about 2.5 hours. There is a bus that picks you up and takes you back to where we started. There is a place to change at the beginning and they have you check out when you get back. The staff is really friendly!
Booked a tubing run weeks prior. The day of the reservation it was raining and the temps had dropped to the 60's. Weather was terrible. I called and asked to refund my $60. They said no and I would only get a voucher for future use. I was travelling with my son and wouldn't be back for who knows how long. Very disappointed!
