Itinerario

Superb experience .Very professional and highly knowledgeable. I truly recommend it. Thank you Frank.
Thank you so much for the high praise! I'm glad you enjoyed your day with me tasting our way through the neighborhood.
This is truly a not-to-miss experience and a perfect way to spend a day in Buenos Aires! Frank is an absolutely incredible host and guide, brought our family into his own home, graciously served us snacks and his spin on a traditional drink, followed by a meal of amazing meats from his backyard asado, wine galore, and mate (traditional Argentine tea-like drink). But it didn’t stop there! Frank takes you on an amazing walking journey around Palermo Viejo to learn all about the history and art and community of the area. We stopped at a beautiful wine store for some wine and cheese, always in Frank’s good hands and with his incredible depth of information. What was amazing was that our 10-year-olds enjoyed this tour as much as the adults did! Plus, he took pictures of us and sent them together with recipes and other information about the day the following morning, which was so much appreciated. If you want a super special, unique, local experience while you’re in Buenos Aires, this is definitely a top way to spend the day! Thank you so much, Frank. You’re amazing!
Pioneer, thank you so much for this wonderful review, and for taking the time to write it on two platforms! That means a lot. It was a genuine pleasure having your family over. And yes, the 10-year-olds were absolutely in it from start to finish. That never gets old for me. Some of my favorite moments as a host happen when kids who weren't sure what to expect end up being the most engaged people at the table. I'm glad the follow-up email with photos and recipes landed well too. That little package is my way of making sure the day doesn't just live in your memory but also in your kitchen, wherever in the world you happen to be cooking next. Hope to see your family back in Buenos Aires one day. There's still so much more to eat. Con cariño, Frank, Owner, Asado Adventure
Jeremiah and I did The Asado Experience in Buenos Aires last month, and it was hands down one of the best experiences of our entire trip. What makes this so special is that it’s not just a meal, it’s a full cultural experience. The walking portion added so much depth, giving us history and context along the way, which made everything feel more connected and intentional. The food was absolutely incredible, truly one of the best asados we’ve ever had. Every course was thoughtfully prepared, and the wine pairings were spot on. You can tell there’s real care put into honoring the tradition while still making it feel welcoming and intimate. And the smoked mate at the end, that was such a standout moment. Unique, impressive, and honestly delicious. It was the perfect way to close out an already amazing experience. Beyond the food, what really stayed with me was the feeling. It felt personal, warm, and genuine, like being invited into someone’s home rather than attending something “touristy,” which is exactly what you hope for in a city like Buenos Aires. If you’re visiting Buenos Aires, do not skip this. It’s one of those experiences you’ll be talking about long after your trip ends.
Thank you so much for the kind words. I love that it felt like visiting a home rather than a tourist attraction, because that's exactly what it is. You were also part of a small, intimate group that, by the end of the day, felt like old friends around the table. And that moment with the mate at the end? That one always gets me too. Thank you for spending the day with us and for taking the time to share your experience here for others to see. Con cariño, Frank Owner, Asado Adventure
It's a really outstanding introduction to the food and experience of being in Buenos Aires. The host goes the extra mile in getting to know his guests and make them feel at home.
Hi Barry, Thank you for the kind words. I also enjoyed your company and you are welcome back any kind. Maybe next time you can talk your partner into making the brave trip out of the cocoon. ;-)
We had an amazing experience with Frank and AsadoAdventure. This was one of the best tours and meals that we have experienced and a favorite experience from our visit to Argentina.
Chris, thank you so much for taking the time to share this, it genuinely means the world to us. Knowing that the Asado Adventure stood out as a favorite moment from your entire trip to Argentina is exactly the kind of thing that keeps us doing what we do with so much love and care. If you ever find yourself back in Buenos Aires, we would be thrilled to have you at our table again. And if any friends or family are planning a visit, we'd be honored if you passed our name along. Word of mouth from guests like you is how great adventures find the right people.
Excellent unique experience sharing wonderful food and grilling experience Set in the owners home treated like royalty A must if you like good food and learning how to grill with excellent company Ady
Thank you so much for this beautiful review, and for spending time with us in Palermo! Hearing that you felt "treated like royalty" genuinely made our day. That's exactly the spirit we pour into every gathering around the grill. The asado is personal to us, and sharing it in our home with curious, wonderful guests like yourself is what makes this all worthwhile. We're so glad the grilling experience resonated with you, and that the time around the fire left such a strong impression. There's something about cooking together, sharing stories, and eating well that turns strangers into friends pretty quickly. We hope Buenos Aires treated you well beyond our table, and that the memory of smoke, good meat, and great company travels home with you. If you're ever back in the city, the grill will be warm and the welcome warmer.
Having dinner at Frank’s house and learning about his charming neighborhood was a unique and great experience - our favorite experience in Buenos Aires! Highly recommend!
Dear NanaG, Thank you for taking the time to share these kind words. I am also grateful that you opted to tour with us. I really enjoyed hosting you in my home and showing off my neighborhood with all of the street art and history that is around us.
The Asado Adventure was just that and more. Through food and art Frank has created an experience that allows you to be immersed in Argentina's culture in a way that no other run of the mill tour could possibly offer. We enjoyed every moment of our adventure. The food was outstanding. We were not just served the food but participated in its preparation and learned its history. Frank also provided us with a photo album of our afternoon that exceeded anything we could have put together on our own. A lovely surprise thrown into all of this was a wine tasting at Sommelier en Bicicleta, a beautiful wine shop with a fantastic selection of Argentinian wines and cheeses. If you love food, wine, culture and history this is definitely a not to be missed experience.
Thank you, Liz. It truly means a lot to read words like these. My goal has always been to create something that feels less like a tour and more like stepping into the rhythm of local life, through food, art, and the stories that shape this neighborhood. I’m especially glad you enjoyed the wine tasting at Sommelier en Bicicleta. It is one of my favorite stops because it connects beautifully with the asado and the history of Argentine wine culture. And I’m thrilled the photo album resonated with you. Those moments deserve to be remembered well. Thank you again for taking the time to share your experience. You will always have a place at my table if you return to Buenos Aires.
What a special tour - it's a must do if you're in Buenos Aires! Our family and friends have a wide variety of interests and culinary preferences. Frank was able to help us all enjoy the delights of Asado whilst also stretching us to enjoy the Argentinian culture properly. His knowledge and passion for the Palermo neighbourhood history, art and people was infectious and we really immersed ourselves in the half day experience for small groups. Value for money and unforgettable. Go, enjoy and tell your friends!
Thank you so much for the kind words. I'm so glad that you all enjoyed the day with me. I love showing off my neighborhood and I truly love a good asado, especially with good company. If you ever make it back, you know where the grill is at now. You are welcome back anytime!
We enjoyed a fun, intimate and informative day with our friendly host and guide, Frank. We learned a lot about Argentina's history, the colorful Palermo Viejo neighborhood, wine, and dining Asado style. We participated in preparing the asado grill and making the chimmichirri sauce. The grill master served up different cuts of meat course by course complemented with Argentine wine. Our delicious meal concluded with the making and drinking of traditional mate. We all left with full bellies and a cute penguin wine pitcher gift. But the tour didn't end there. The next day, Frank was kind enough to follow-up with answers and resources to our questions, a detailed summary of our day, and photos of our tour and dinner. This was a great way to enjoy a day in Buenos Aires!
Thank you so much for taking the time to write this. Reading your words truly means a lot. I’m so glad the day felt fun, intimate, and informative, because that balance is exactly what I hope to create. Palermo Viejo has so many layers, from immigration and crisis to creativity and reinvention, and sharing those stories while exploring the neighborhood and sharing an asado is one of my favorite parts of hosting. I love that you mentioned participating in the fire and chimichurri. The asado is always better when everyone gets involved. And yes, the wine penguin is a very serious souvenir in this house. It was also a pleasure to follow up afterward. For me, the experience does not end when the last mate is poured. If questions come up or curiosity lingers, I’m always happy to keep the conversation going. Thank you again for spending your day with me and for sharing it so thoughtfully here. I hope Buenos Aires stays with you for a long time.
