We spent two incredible days with Kai climbing Table Mountain, and it was truly one of the highlights of our trip. From the very beginning, he created a calm, supportive, and professional atmosphere that made us feel completely safe and confident. We were learning trad climbing and multipitching, and Kai explained everything clearly, patiently, and in a way that really built our understanding rather than just guiding us up the route. His knowledge of the mountain, the routes, and safety systems was impressive, and we always felt in very good hands. Beyond his technical skills, Kai is simply a very kind and appreciative person who genuinely cares about giving you the best possible experience. He adapts to your level, encourages you at the right moments, and makes the whole adventure both fun and empowering. If you want to make the most out of your time on Table Mountain or in the surrounding mountains, I can highly recommend booking a tour with him. We would absolutely climb with him again!

Climbing with Kai was simply amazing. He is the best guide I have had in my life. His technical knowledge is visible and he always motivates you to do your best. Great and professional guide that finds the perfect climbing itinerary depending on your level. It was my second time climbing but got to do a challenging climb (level 5b) with sick views on my own pace. It's one of the best ways to get an adrenaline rush while enjoying the best views of the surrounding bay and mountains. Additionally, I got a full briefing about safety, belaying and rope management. Would definitely highly recommend!

What can I say!? Kai is a legend. Me and my wife did a days trad climbing on table mountain. We abseiled down to the start of the climb and just had a blast from start to finish. He was very considerate of needs and capabilities throughout the day! Highly recommended 👌 I also did a solo day of climbing with Kai and equally had an absolutely amazing day. What an awesome day! Kai and Ross were amazing. Kai was great with changing the booking based on the weather and was super responsive. I climbed with Ross who was super patient with me as I’m dealing with a shoulder injury. I didn’t get to complete the route - my choice - but I’ll definitely be back when my shoulder is stronger. I felt safe the entire time and learned so much about Table Mountains flora and fauna on the hike up and back down. Five stars. What an awesome experience!

Me and my family climbed in the Silvermines part of table mountain with Kai and had a fantastic time! Our group had very beginner climbers and me who is a bit more advanced. Kai helped us pick the best trip for us and we all had a great time. He helped teach me more about belaying and outdoor climbing too which was awesome. He brought a partner whose name I can’t recall right now and this let us have multiple climbers going at the same time. We all felt very safe and had a blast. Kai was also very easy to communicate with. I highly recommend this to anyone visiting Cape Town!

My experience with the Climb Table Mountain crew was a blast. I was guided by Kai, who was super knowledgable and fun company. As a relatively experienced climber, I was returning from an injury that kept me away from climbing for a couple of months, so Kai tailored the day to give me an adventurous experience but kept the route choice relaxed and enjoyable. I had also never climbed trad before, so I followed on the gear Kai placed. He ran me through the fundamentals of gear placement (for demonstration purposes only) and cleaning, which was a great education on its own. We climbed four pitches, and the rock was incredible - super grippy sandstone that felt secure and uniquely featured; a good mix of face, arete and traverse climbing. Throughout the leadup, Kai's communication was just the right amount, and he really worked to give me the experience I was after. This was my only opportunity to climb in SA on this trip, and it did not disappoint. Experienced or not, it's always great to climb with someone who really knows a spot and can take you up great routes. Don't think about it, just book it ;)
