i attended your water park last Tues with a group of my family. i got injured coming down the Large Red Slide. I hurt my knee badly on attempting to come out of the water your life guard did not even attempt to come forward to see if i was ok and i was clearly not as i couldn't not stand and was in a lot of pain. My husband and son had to come into the water to help me get out. Even when she clearly seen this she remained in her post. Eventually after a couple of mins she looked down and said oh are you okay, yet never even attempted to come down to check if we needed assistance. I 100per cent get that they must stay in their post but clearly she was not very observant and i was just hurt on the side and in distress in the water. My sons partner is a paramedic and thankfully she was able to examine my knee she did say we needed to go to your medic tent or treatment area. My husband approached the life guard standing at gates at the wave pool as we had been on beds there to ascertain if they had any ice packs or treatment area or first Aid and again the life guard there was very dismissive and said no we have no such area or items. Really this is not good enough. For a water park not have no such area or a first responder to assist when someone got hurt was shocking. Earlier in the day we witness 2 difference dangerous incidents on the Boomerang one young boy flew out of the ring and landed at bottom and another man hit his head and burnt his back on it. We have been to many water parks across Spain and to be honest we were all very let down by the state and dirt of many areas and attitude here of the staff. Over priced budget foods and qs are horrendous. overcrowding in all ares is something that needs to be addressed Regardless of my injury the kids all had fast pass which was great but still not enough rings to help them get through quicker and stil had huge qs to stand in for majority of the slides. This is something that really does need addressed. The lazy river wasn't even working we had get out of rings and push our selves round. We were told the engine wasn't working plus it was completely filthy and the wave pool is in a terrible state and water is absolutely filthy. i am not one who would normally complain or leave bad review but i feel i have to let you know that your staff really aren't doing themselves any justice or their job correctly. I know i went on the slide myself and at my own risk but no instruction was given at top by the staff on how to go down the slide or how to enter the water. I really think that more training is required. Staff just seemed to be more concerned getting the people down as quickly as they could.
One of the worst days out we’ve had. Everything at this water park is massively overpriced, from the entrance tickets to the food, and the experience simply doesn’t come close to justifying the cost. The water looked dirty, and the queues for the rides were ridiculous. We spent hours standing around waiting, only for rides to break down with little or no explanation. The most frustrating part was the attitude of some of the staff. Instead of keeping customers informed, they seemed completely uninterested — often just shrugging their shoulders as if it wasn’t their problem. Even getting food was painfully slow, despite the prices being so high. Many of the staff looked miserable and as though they really didn’t want to be there. The whole place felt badly organised and poorly managed — like a water park for kids being run by kids. If you enjoy spending most of your day standing in queues, then look no further — this is the water park for you. For everyone else, save your money and go somewhere else. Overpriced tickets, overpriced food, dirty water, endless queues, broken rides, poor communication and uninterested staff. Don’t waste your time or money. An absolutely awful experience.
Following some reviews I read, I was a little afraid to go to Aquopolis But we do not regret it at all, we had an excellent day. The park is clean, including the pools; not a speck of dirt is lying around. There are plenty of free lounge chairs in the lawn area. The paid ones are quite numerous as well along the pools. Given that we were going to spend the day in the water, we took 2 free ones on the lawn. There are lockers at the entrance for valuables that we didn't use, and we didn't have any problems. It is possible to eat on-site, but picnics are allowed. Lifeguards are present throughout the site and are very attentive. The area for little ones is great. My 4-year-old daughter had fun there from opening to closing. She was also able to go on some slides, accompanied, such as the mini zigzag or the wild river. My 7-year-old son was able to enjoy all the slides (except for the 2 thrill ones) and he loved it. I should point out, however, that he knows how to swim perfectly, which is essential. The lines were never long (and we didn't have the speedy passes), a maximum of 10 minutes wait. In short, a pleasant time with the family. Back on site with teens aged 12 and 15 and they had a great time. Max wait time in lines: 20 minutes.
Have been to loads of water parks abroad over the years but this one was extremely disappointing. On arrival there were not enough sunbeds or spaces anywhere to sit comfortably, so we had to sit on the grass. The ques for the water slides were ridiculous. We qued a hour and a half nearly to go on the rapids alone . They let far too many people in at one time. Really overcrowded, the children only had time to go on one slide due to how packed it was was not worth the money it was such a disappointing day out and the kids said it was the worst park they had been to. Will not be returning nor recommending to anyone
A scam; you start even before entering by paying 6€ for the very expensive parking, the lockers are between 10 and 15 €, and the food is very expensive (food, drinks, etc.). The park itself is very neglected, pools are very old, water is very dirty, the floor of the pools is very old, just like the slides. Then the lines for the attractions are eternal, I think that in addition to overcrowding, it is because the lifeguards do not move people along, apart from the fact that the slides are so old they do not slide well. Very few inner tubes, not to say none; we got into the river and had to swim without an inner tube because the inner tubes did not arrive, and while inside we only saw two inner tubes the whole way. I mentioned it to the girl and she did not know what to say. Therefore, an experience I would not repeat at this park. They should go about fixing many things and give everything a once-over in terms of cleanliness and improvement of all services, restaurants, attractions, etc. I went years ago and I do not expect it to be as new, but everything needs a facelift. Sorry, one more thing: at the exit they offer you the photos they take of you from the moment you enter until you leave (they take photos of you everywhere) and for each photo they want to charge you nothing more and nothing less than 15 euros each, and if you take them all, 50. It is no wonder that no one takes them (we did not either). In total, we spent, between the tickets which are also excessive, 101 euros for 3 adults and 1 child, plus food, etc., about 200€. A scam for what they offer; we will not repeat.
The park is very well maintained and clean. Safety measures everywhere and the lifeguards are very friendly; they are attentive to everything. The attractions are varied by height, and all the children have somewhere to enjoy themselves. Another year that we go and enjoy the day to the fullest. We will repeat.
Several slides out of order. Water in the pools very dirty. The staff very limited. In short. I strongly advise against it. 130€ for the family for this. It is not even worth 50€
We had a fantastic day at Aquopolis Torrevieja and would definitely recommend it for a family day out. We visited with our 12- and 9-year-old, and both had a brilliant time. There was a great selection of rides, and plenty to keep them entertained throughout the day. We had the Platinum VIP Pass, which really added to the experience. The unlimited food and drinks were a great bonus, and we soon realised that you could go up and get up to three items at a time. This included drinks, ice creams and even crisps, so it was really convenient and meant you could easily grab something whenever you wanted without having to keep going back and queuing. The VIP area was also a great feature. Having somewhere comfortable to sit in the shade was particularly welcome in the middle of August, when the sun was incredibly hot. The shower facilities were another bonus and made it much easier to freshen up during the day. The park itself was clean and well maintained, and the staff were friendly and as helpful as they could be, even with the obvious language barrier. Nothing that a translator app couldn't help with, though! Overall, we had a brilliant family day and felt the Platinum VIP Pass was well worth it. The combination of the rides, unlimited food and drinks, and the VIP area made for a really enjoyable and relaxing day. We would happily visit Aquopolis Torrevieja again
What a nightmare place. Started badly a queue to get parked was massive as only one person taking payment. The we got there we found in peak period a fair number of rides/slides were closed for maintenance. This caused major queues for few remaining open park slides. We decided to leave early, the queue to complain was also major with heated arguments going on. A rammed full park with many features offline, terrible terrible terrible. My daughter treat me for my birthday, it’s was sad for her.
We ignored bad reviews on this waterpark, and I wished we hadn’t. This waterpark was so busy. Not just your usual queues for slides of say 10-15mins. We waited in a 1 hour queues for rubber floats to go on the slides! Some areas are shaded in the queues but other areas are completely in the sun, and it’s really uncomfortable waiting like that. We came with a mixture of ages 18, 16, 9, 7, 5, 35 and 70. There are not enough rubber floats to accommodate how many tickets they are selling. They also need more medium slides for 7-9 year olds. When we went black hole was closed, rapids were closed and the four glider slides. In meant that there weren’t really enough running slides to accommodate the capacity of tickets sold. In the whole day we only managed to get on a handful of slides. We’d usually managed to go on most of them at different water parks The wave machine was good, and they did aqua zumba dancing there too. You can take your own food in and I would recommend doing this, everyone seemed to take cool boxes in.
