This tour agency no-showed, leaving us completely stranded in the middle of Uyuni, Bolivia, with zero communication and with no alternative provided. They simply took our money and ran. Viator was similarly unable to reach the operator and was competely ineffective at remedying the situation in real-time. Viator provided a refund after the fact, which still did not fix the time wasted and the absent tour operator. Book at your own risk.

We had an absolutely amazing trip to the Uyuni salt flats with got salt Bolivia and Larry as our guide. They went out of their way to make it fun and memorable. Would definitely go again and strong recommend to everyone!

I can really recommend the private 3D2N saltflat tour with GotSaltBolivia and our guide/driver/chef Paul. It was en once in a life time experiance and i must say that Paul was a big part of it. He is a really good guide if youre intressted in photo. I can also recommend to do a private tour - well worth the extra cost. Hope to see you again Paul :)

Would definitely recommend Paul he was very accommodating and friendly and takes great pictures. The salar is one of the most beautiful places on earth.

Paul is honestly the best and most interactive tour guide I have ever had! He planned the day perfectly and we could not have had more fun. 4 of us did a Full-Day (including sunset) tour of the Uyuni Salt Flats. Paul is very knowledgeable about the area, knows the best spots to go for photos and is very adaptive to your group’s needs - he goes out of his way to tailor the experience to your group. He was very friendly, speaks great English and has a great sense of humour - he will fit right into your group. He’s also great with photography and drones. The tour is great value for money, and also damn the lunch is delicious. If you are thinking of doing a salt flats tour, definitely go with Got Salt!

We had an amazing day at the salt flats with Paul. When booking the tour he was easily reachable through whatsapp. Paul is very knowledgeable about the salt flats, Bolivian economy, cars so we had some interesting conversations with him during the day. He took us to sections where there were less tourists. Even though we visited during the dry season Paul took us to a water section to see the sunset. He took some great pictures of our family. Lunch was provided and it was the best meal we had in Uyuni, even better than the dinner we had a Tika restaurant, that was highly recommended by a few people.

I have nothing but great things to say about Gol Salt tours! My guide, Valeria, was so accommodating, sweet, friendly, knowledgable, and passionate about the region and her home country that this review doesn't do justice. She even connected me with a tour guide friend in La Paz, who took me all around the highlights of the capital the following day! The morning of the Salar tour, our driver picked me up from my hotel, and first we went to the rainy season stops that every operator visits (train cemetery, salt factory, and Dakar monument). Unfortunately, Incahuasi Island and Tunupa Volcano were inaccessible in February as we were near the height of the wet season, but that just meant more time on the Salar! We spent several hours observing the mirror effect in all its glory, and I couldn't be more pleased with the photos and videos that Valeria and our driver took. They captured not only cool and original perspective photos, but also some of the most creative timelapse and illusion videos that I have ever seen! What sets Got Salt apart is their willingness to go the extra mile for their customers. While other operators convene at the Dakar monument for lunch, we ate out on the Salar. We also enjoyed the sunset in its entirety, unlike many other tours which stop for only a few minutes for a photo opportunity and then hurry back to Uyuni with the Golden Hour still well underway. The wine and cheese picnic during sunset was the perfect ending to an awesome day! This single-day tour satisfied my desire to not only see the sunset mirror on the Salar There was never a dull moment and, when I return, I will be sure to use Got Salt again!

Did a private tour with Got Salt and it was amazing. They promptly picked us up at the airport and at 10am we began the tour. Our Guide maribel was excellent and so was the driver. They tailored to sour needs and helped us take amazing pictures! When setting up the our Paul was quick to respond to any of our questions and everything was great. Highly recommended for a private tour!
