Itinerario
Sarai prelevato tra le 4:20 e le 5:20 e partirai presto per vedere l'alba al Parco archeologico di Angkor, patrimonio mondiale dell'UNESCO. Paga l'ingresso e dirigiti verso la prima fermata ad Angkor Wat per vedere l'alba. Visita il più grande e il più impressionante di tutti i templi di Angkor, considerato tra le nuove 7 meraviglie del mondo.
Angkor Wat fu costruito tra il 1113-1150 d.C. e dedicato a Vishnu, il dio indù della conservazione. È il meglio conservato di tutti i templi. La sua disposizione e la sua scala sono semplicemente mozzafiato, il muro che circonda il recinto misura 1.000 metri per 800 e il fossato, che si dice rappresenti gli oceani del mondo, è largo 200 metri. Angkor Wat è un'allegoria architettonica del mitico Monte Meru al centro del mondo (Himalaya). Questo incredibile tempio ospita il bassorilievo continuo più lungo del mondo, che corre lungo le pareti della galleria esterna.
Esploriamo anche il complesso di Angkor Thom. Le sue vaste mura, larghe circa 6 metri, alte 8 metri e lunghe 13 chilometri, contengono molti monumenti. All'interno delle mura risiedevano il re, i suoi parenti e funzionari, ufficiali militari e sacerdoti, il resto della popolazione viveva fuori dal grande recinto, tra i due laghi artificiali. La nostra visita inizierà con la Porta Sud, una bellissima introduzione ad Angkor Thom con statue ben restaurate di Asura (demoni) e divinità che fiancheggiano il ponte.
All'interno del complesso, visiteremo prima il Bayon con 200 infinite facce sorridenti. Questa montagna del tempio situata nel centro di Angkor Thom City, dove distingue il Bayon da molti altri monumenti di Angkor.
e poi continuiamo il tour a Ta Phrom, un monastero costruito dal re Jayavarman VII come residenza per sua madre oltre che come scuola. Ta Phrom è stata controversa lasciata al potere distruttivo della giungla dagli archeologi francesi per dimostrare la straordinaria potenza della natura. È stato in gran parte consumato dalla giungla e mentre ti arrampichi attraverso le fatiscenti strutture di pietra vedrai molti alberi giganti che crescono dalla cima del tempio stesso. Ad ogni svolta ti aspetteresti di vedere Indiana Jones (Lara Croft) uscire da dietro un pilastro caduto intorno a te. Questo tour si conclude con il trasferimento di ritorno al tuo hotel o qualsiasi punto di consegna richiesto nel centro della città.

Mok Vireak was a wonderful tour guide. He has a vast knowledge of Cambodian history and made the tour through the temples an unforgettable experience by taking us to all the best sites and a great spot for the sunrise! The tour was just the right amount of sightseeing consisting of a trip to all the main temples and some time for a break at one of the local food spots. Highly recommend if you want so see the temples without spending a full day out.
We had San as our guide for our tour of Angkor Wat, Ta Promh and Bayon Temples. From the moment he picked us up we had a good time. His knowledge of the temples is exceptional. We learned so much in our 7 hours, his passion for the history was infectious. We never stopped chatting, and we had a good laugh too, his English is very good. And not to mention his photography skills, he took some amazing snaps of us (see attached), this also meant we could enjoy our walk around not having to take photos. All in all, exceptional tour and would highly recommend this tour and San.

A seven hour sunrise tour that took in three amazing temples, Angkor Wat, Ta Prohm and Bayon. Watching the sunrise at Angkor Wat was serene. Our guide, Nak, was incredibly knowledgeable and educated us in the history of the Khmer people of that age as well as the Hindu and Buddhist iconography in all three temples.
Had a great day kuysin met us on time at our hotel for an early start of the sunrise at Angor Wat. A memorable experience Kuysin had great knowledge of the local history which was interesting. Visited other temples including Tomb Raiders temple a memorable day
It was a great tour of Angkor Watt and the other temples. Our guide, Nak, was really enthusiastic and told us lots of interesting things about everything we saw. His English is excellent and our day felt very special. His driver was also brilliant and kept us topped up with cold towels and cold water when it got too hot. I would definitely recommend using Nak for this tour.
Our guide Samun and driver Cheat were both excellent. They were waiting for us before the pickup time. Samun is very knowledgeable, he explained the history in detail and took us to the best photo spots. He is an excellent photographer and sent us the photos immediately. He was very courteous and flexible with the itinerary. Cheat was ready for us with chilled towels and bottled water, very welcome in the heat, and drove us safely back after the tour finished. I highly recommend our guide Samun and driver Cheat, they made our sunrise tour to the Angkor Wat complex unforgettable!
