My voucher was just for entrance, no tour. I presented the voucher at the entrance and it wasn’t accepted by their scanner. Very frustrating and embarrassing experience. I looked through booking messages and I didn’t see any directions regarding using a different entrance or access point than the main entrance. They tried scanning other versions of the same voucher with no luck.

We would like to clarify that the official museum tickets were sent to you via the Viator CLC messaging system on the day before your scheduled visit. The Rijksmuseum accepts only its official ticket with the QR code for entry. If the Viator booking voucher was presented instead, it would not be accepted by the museum's scanners. We understand how frustrating this situation must have been and appreciate your feedback. We will continue working to make our ticket instructions even clearer for future travelers.
The museum did not honor tickets in; had to buy new tickets at the door; no response from Viator on issues. Will never use this app again in the Netherlands.

Please note that the Viator booking voucher itself is not valid for museum entry. The museum requires the official e-tickets with the QR/barcode for admission. If the original e-tickets had been presented at the entrance, access to the museum would have been granted. We sincerely regret any misunderstanding regarding the ticket usage instructions and appreciate your feedback as we continue working to improve the traveler experience.
