Itinerario
Al lago di Janauary pranzeremo in un ristorante galleggiante e cammineremo su un sentiero sospeso vicino alla chioma degli alberi e raggiungeremo il lago con le ninfee (durante i mesi di fine agosto e metà dicembre non possiamo raggiungere questo posto a causa della stagione secca amazzonica quindi visitiamo una località diversa anche vicino alla zona ma senza ninfee)
Al villaggio galleggiante Catalão scopriremo uno dei modi più unici in cui la nostra gente vive in case galleggianti in mezzo a un lago. Ci fermeremo in un allevamento ittico per giocare con il famoso pesce Pirarucu (la più grande specie di pesce con scaglie in acqua dolce del mondo). durante i mesi di metà agosto e metà dicembre potremmo non riuscire a raggiungere questo lago a causa della siccità amazzonica)
Uno dei fenomeni più sorprendenti quando i due fiumi con colori e caratteristiche diverse corrono fianco a fianco senza mescolarsi. Ci fermeremo per avere qualche spiegazione su questo fenomeno e scattare qualche foto.
Torneremo al porto turistico passando dalla periferia di Manaus e vedremo la zona industriale, i porti, i mercati e molto altro ancora.

Exceptional experience enhanced by super customer care. Experience the meeting of the waters, a tasty lunch, a floating village and a lake of water lilies and caiman crocodiles. Loved this experience.

Terrible experience. In the picture they show you a large boat with people wearing life jackets. In reality, this was a tiny boat, seating 3-4 passengers, no safety equipment and very unsafe. There were 3 of us in addition to the guide and operator, the river was especially turbulent that day and the water splashed us from all sides. It rained a bit and the boat did not even have a proper cover. They were supposed to take us for lunch to a floating restaurant but when we got there, hardly any food was left. Other tour groups had already eaten and were leaving. Very badly managed trip, total waste of money.

Very enjoyable outing. We first went to a floating restaurant for lunch buffet of arapaima cooked several ways and chicken. There was a great variety of side dishes so everyone could find something they would enjoy. Next to the restaurant was a boardwalk that led to a pond of giant water lilies. After lunch we took a side channel to see the community of floating houses, a school bus - which was a boat, as well as cattle being transported by boat. Then we went to a fish farm where we fed the arapaima. Next was the meeting of the waters, the Rio Negro and the Amazon. They run alongside each other for a very long way. Not only is the color of the rivers different but so is the temperature of the waters. Our guide was knowledgeable and spoke very good English.
