Abbiamo avuto accesso esclusivo a una fattoria privata di frutta tropicale Daintree Rainforest, dove possiamo camminare nell'antica foresta pluviale e nuotare sotto una cascata incontaminata e appartata.... Dopo aver esplorato questa passeggiata idilliaca attraverso lussureggianti radure forestali e la valle del torrente, ci godiamo un superbo pranzo gourmet, con scelte di bistecca, pesce barramundi, pollo, canguro e vegetariano. SI PREGA DI INSERIRE LE SCELTE DI PRANZO PER TUTTI I VIAGGIATORI IN "REQUISITI SPECIALI" DURANTE IL CHECKOUT. E poi finire il pomeriggio con una crociera in barca sul fiume Daintree alla ricerca degli affascinanti coccodrilli dell'estuario e di altri animali selvatici di questo ecosistema patrimonio dell'umanità. Itinerario
Per iniziare la mattinata, attraverseremo paesaggi costieri lussureggianti e montuosi da Port Douglas, imparando a conoscere la storia e la cultura della regione, mentre viaggiamo verso l'antica foresta pluviale di Daintree.
Per la nostra spettacolare e idilliaca passeggiata selvaggia, camminiamo attraverso le antiche radure della foresta pluviale e la valle del torrente fino a una splendida cascata appartata nell'area del patrimonio mondiale dei tropici umidi di Daintree, dove possiamo nuotare in questa piscina rocciosa incontaminata. La camminata dura 1 ora leggermente impegnativa a tratta e richiede una forma fisica ragionevole e un buon equilibrio. Procediamo a un ritmo rilassato, condividendo molti dettagli affascinanti sull'ecosistema incontaminato della foresta pluviale lungo il sentiero... Poi ci rilassiamo e ci concediamo una nuotata rinfrescante in questa magica piscina naturale di roccia dove possiamo nuotare proprio sotto le cascate!
Ci godiamo un superbo pranzo gourmet in un ristorante nascosto nella foresta pluviale, con una scelta di bistecche, pesce, canguro, pollo o vegetariano e altre esigenze dietetiche soddisfatte. Cucinato fresco per te da uno chef del miglior ristorante della zona. Goditi un'esperienza bonus di degustazione di frutta tropicale con il tuo pasto principale, imparando la storia e gli usi culinari di queste delizie colorate ed esotiche!
Per il pomeriggio, ci imbarcheremo in una crociera di avvistamento di coccodrilli e fauna selvatica sul fiume Daintree a energia solare. Cogli l'opportunità di vedere da vicino il più grande coccodrillo del mondo e porta la tua macchina fotografica per la meravigliosa vita di uccelli sull'estuario.

The river cruise and hike to the waterfall was a great experience. We were able to see crocodiles in their natural environment and the hike was really enjoyable albeit it a bit challenging in some areas. Allister was a fabulous tour guide, being very friendly and knowledgeable. The only negative was the tea house which we stopped for lunch. Stopping in Mossman for lunch would have been preferable.

Good mixture of walking, information about the rainforest, personal stories from the guide, a volumtary swim and the one our crocodile cruise in the afternoon for some adventure

Allister was such an entertaining and kind guide. He pointed out so many things during the drive and the walk - that really made the difference for me. And where do you get your own private lil rock pool by the waterfall in the midst of the rainforest? We loved the entire day!!

We just got back from the BEST day with Allister - we were picked up from our resort in Port Douglas and had a very informative and fun drive to the hike, the waterfall was unreal, gourmet lunch was at a hidden little restaurant then on to an hour crocodile tour where we saw heaps of crocs! Then delivered back! It was such a great day and if you are visiting you should definitely splurge on this one!

We enjoyed the full day experience seeing 6 crocodiles cruising the Daintree River, a delicious barramundi and tropical fruit lunch at a rainforest restaurant . We had a unique hike in the rainforest to a waterfall pool for swimming through a private property. Very well organised by Alistair.

Allister came and pick me at the resort where I stayed in Port Douglas. He took us first hiking in the Daintree Rainforest, telling us all about plants and animals that populated the forest and telling us what to be careful about, beside telling us stories about the forest. The highlight of this walk was for sure the swim into a secluded waterfall, which only Allister provides! Afterwards we ate at Daintree Tee House, where the owner explained us a lot about tropical fruits in our plates and we had a delightful lunch - I ordered meat and potatoes, which I highly recommend, besides being served the best fruit I have ever had in my life. The place was reserved for us only and it was a real Queensland experience, something I will never forget - the fruit above all! At the end of the day we went on a Daintree river cruise with Bruce Belcher & Sons, where we admired severals crocodiles and were lucky enough to spot rare birds as well. Allister also took us all back to our hotels and resorts.
