Una volta che i nostri ospiti vengono prelevati dal nostro autista / guida, verranno guidati attraverso Belize City mentre si dirigono verso Altun Ha per il tour. Gli ospiti potranno vedere alcuni segni di terra della città come il Baron Bliss Light House e il Museo del Belize, un edificio in mattoni che è stato utilizzato in passato come prigione. Il viaggio è di circa un'ora per il sito. andando a nord da Belize City. Lungo la strada vedrai anche parte dello storico fiume Old Belize utilizzato come primo mezzo di trasporto prima che ci fossero lavori di rete stradale nel paese. Lungo il percorso puoi anche vedere alcune comunità rurali nel distretto del Belize. Una volta sul sito potrai accedere e utilizzare i bagni ben igienizzati da lì i tuoi tour iniziano con una prima passeggiata attraverso il museo sul sito. La tua guida ti accompagnerà quindi al sito Maya di Altun Ha, dove ti verrà fornita una visita guidata con informazioni dettagliate su questa antica ma importante città Maya

Se venite dalle Cayes, offriamo anche pick up dai terminali di taxi acquei qui a Belize City. Verremo a prenderti dal tuo Airbnb a Belize City. Se provenite dalla nave da crociera, dirigetevi verso il gate Terminal 1 e uscite. Avremo un cartello con il tuo nome nella zona di attesa all'esterno.

Had an absolutely amazing 4 hours with Waynie. Great communication before and during the tour. Picked up outside the cruise terminal in belize and taken to the site (about 70 mins away). Waynie gave lots of details and information about the country and places on the ride. Quick access to the site, Waynie was so knowledgeable and talked us through the displays and information in the Mayan museum, then took us around the site and took photos/videos, we were on site for about 90 minutes before returning to tbe port terminal. Take Mozzie spray as needed. Thanks Waynie...an amazing 4 hours

I will start with saying the Altun Ha temples are worth a visit. Visited off a cruise ship. However, my family of 5 paid $425 + $50 entrance fees for what boils down to a taxi ride and 5-10 min verbal introduction to the temples. Meeting was fine. The drive out/back about an hour. The driver shared a lot about Belize. All good. I missed the tour fine print and then had to pay $10 USD per person for entry ($50 USD). Went downhill from there. Walking in I was thinking "well, what the heck did I pay $425USD for if entry isn't even covered." Then I realized most of the groups were large cruise ship tours...some were small groups with private guides, OK, paying for the personal tour guide... Nope. The Driver / "tour guide" walked us in. Talked for like 5-10 minutes max, said he had to leave to do "paperwork." We then wandered aimlessly taking some great photos...but not really understanding what was what. In fact, some OTHER private tour guides gave us some information and took pictures of us an a family. In the end, I wonder how much a taxi would have been. Or just a cruise excursion, which was A BIT more money per person, but I think included more, and maybe food. For comparison, we got a private guide through Tripadvisor in Cozumel; we saw 2-3 sites, all site fees included, had lunch, and snorkeled...all for about the same amount of money. It was great and worth it. Bottom line: recommend looking at OTHER OPTIONS to see the site!!

We are always hopeful that our guests check the details of the tour they purchase with us before booking, so as not to be surprised by the service they receive. The entrance fees and lunch are not included, as clearly stated on the tickets and booking information for this tour. These are not hidden fees. We also mention in the booking that we make provisions to stop at a local restaurant for those guests who may want to purchase lunch after the tour. A guided tour of the Mayan site is included, and not being afforded this part of the tour is unacceptable to us. For the tour guide not to complete this very important part of the tour is regrettable. This is not who we are and what we represent. On behalf of our company, we apologize and will ensure there will never again be a recurrence of this issue. Despite these discrepancies, we are pleased to know that you still enjoyed your private tour to the Altun Ha Mayan site. Thanks once again for visiting our beautiful country, Belize.

This trip was very good I enjoyed a private quiet visit to the site. Of course comfortable shoes a must and hydrate, our driver was very patient and knowledgeable, he brought the story telling to life.

Nice informative trip, no issues bring a fmt(fat man towel)!! The stairs are brutal but nice trip all together hopefully have a good driver....smh
It's the peak of the dry season this time of year, hence the Mayan site could be warmer than usual. The climb to the top of the temples could be a little challenging, but it's worth the hike. The view from on top is breathtaking. We are happy for your commentary. Don't be a stranger, there is so much more great adventure you can do in Belize
We had a fantastic afternoon visiting Altun Ha. Our guide was very flexible (we needed to change our start time), had a great relaxed demeanor, and was extremely knowledgeable about Altun Ha and the surrounding countryside. Would highly recommend!
