Viaggerete a bordo di un mezzo di trasporto privato e climatizzato fino al Parco Nazionale di Tikal, dove gli ingressi prioritari sono già inclusi per evitare le code. Accompagnati da una guida esperta certificata, visiterete la Grande Piazza, il Tempio del Grande Giaguaro e salirete al Tempio IV per dominare la giungla dall'alto, scoprendo al contempo la storia dei Maya. Per concludere in bellezza, potrete gustare un pranzo completo con piatti tradizionali della regione prima di imbarcarvi sul nostro mezzo di trasporto per tornare all'aeroporto o direttamente all'isola di Flores. È il terzo lago più grande del Guatemala, sul quale si trova l'isola di Flores. 10 minuti prima di salire sull'autobus, avrete il tempo di scattare foto ricordo; c'è un cartello speciale che dice "YO AMO PETÉN". Da qui inizia il vostro tour, dove attraverserete piccoli villaggi fino a raggiungere l'ingresso principale del Parco Nazionale di Tikal. Lì scenderete dall'autobus per acquistare i biglietti d'ingresso al parco, operazione che richiederà circa un'ora.
L'ingresso principale del Parco Nazionale di Tikal, a questo punto i guardaparco effettueranno il primo controllo dei biglietti (già inclusi) da qui inizia la riserva del Parco Nazionale di Tikal. A questo punto possiamo utilizzare i servizi igienici, poi continuiamo la nostra passeggiata di 16 km fino a raggiungere il centro visitatori.
Ecco la frase convertita in "tu": "Nel centro visitatori del parco troverete una mappa in scala di Tikal (Maqueta), servizi igienici, ristoranti, negozi di artigianato, caffè e il Museo Litico (a pagamento, non è incluso nel prezzo e il biglietto va acquistato prima di entrare nel parco). La guida vi concederà 15 minuti. Successivamente, passerete il controllo dei biglietti e inizierete la vostra escursione attraverso i sentieri della giungla, facendo alcune soste in cui la vostra guida locale vi spiegherà la flora, la fauna e l'archeologia fino a raggiungere la piazza centrale.
In questo luogo si trovano il Tempio del Grande Giaguaro, il Tempio II, l'Acropoli Nord, l'Acropoli Sud, il Gioco della Palla Maya e altri ancora; uno dei principali luoghi da visitare.
Il Tempio Iv o Tempio del Serpente a due teste richiede molta energia per essere scalato, ma offre un'incredibile vista panoramica, soprattutto per osservare le albe.
La Piramide del Mondo Perduto è dotata di scale per la salita e offre un'incredibile vista a 360 gradi. La guida locale vi darà il tempo di scalarlo e di scattare foto, poiché offre una vista panoramica spettacolare.
Il Tempio V di Tikal è uno dei meglio restaurati, il che lo rende impressionante quando lo si scopre. Tornerete poi a piedi al centro visitatori per concludere l'escursione.
Alla fine del tour, potrete gustare un delizioso pranzo qui. In seguito, salirete nuovamente a bordo dell'autobus per tornare all'isola di Flores o all'aeroporto Mundo Maya.

Negli hotel di Flores Tenetevi pronti nella hall del vostro hotel 15 minuti prima delle 8:00, il nostro collaboratore arriverà per voi con un elenco delle persone che partecipano al nostro tour.

Lloyd was a fantastic and passionate tour guide who had a lot of knowledge about Mayan cities and civilizations, especially Tikal!
The activity was very good. Just one recommendation regarding the pickup at the airport since this is the last point, and the schedule states 7:30 AM, but the pickup actually happened after 8:00 AM, which made me worry and I had to contact the operator to confirm the times.
Great vehicle with A.C. Also great driving. Nice and knowledgeable local guide. Stunning place. Lunch was ok.
The ride went well. The shuttle ride and visit to the Tikal site, very good. On the other hand, out of 15 people, 4 wanted the information in English. We had them, but maybe 40% of the time. It was much more in Spanish. Otherwise, everything was fine.
Excellent trip to see the Mayan ruins. The guide was excellent, explaining all the different ruins history. We climbed several ruins and although we walked a lot, we had a few rest breaks. It was a good balance. Saw howler monkeys, spider monkeys and anteaters.
The visit itself is fun to see the pyramids and many wild animals too. However, the guide was not very communicative that at the beginning of the tour he only spoke in Spanish to ask everyone to preorder food and I had no clue what he was saying, when I asked him what's everyone doing, he just asked me to stay put. Later I asked him about it, he said he will fix it, but he didn't. He was nowhere to be found (we were once lost on our way back too). Otherwise the pickup and dropoff at the airport are smooth.
My partner and I took part in the tour to Tikal and had a lovely day! We left Flores at 8 in the morning because we didn't want it as stressful as the Sunrise tours, and were picked up near our hotel (this would not have been necessary in the end, Flores Island is so small that you can easily walk to the parking lot where the actual shuttle starts). It was all on time, the tickets had already been bought by the organizer, and after about 90 min drive we could start the tour in Tikal. Elvin was friendly, entertaining and obviously enjoyed the tour, it was a good and exciting experience! Due to the heat and humidity you are actually well exhausted after 3-4 hours of guidance, even if there would be much more to see. There was also time in between to look around what was important to us to really enjoy the surroundings. Lunch at the end was okay, nothing out of the ordinary, but perfectly fine. You could choose between chicken and beef, but on request I got a vegetarian option with rice, vegetables, egg and cheese. After the meal there was 45 minutes until the bus went back, that would not have been necessary, but maybe they planned a buffer. For the price the tour is absolutely recommended, we had a good time and learned a lot!
Our tour had a great time. Our guide Jose was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. He took us to the best spots and gave us great photographs ideas. Our guide was very polite and gave us excellent pointers along the way and prior to the start of the tour. We all had a great time.
loved the tour, it was perfect for solo travelers. The timing was ideal, the weather was great, and the food was delicious.
It was such a nice experience. We were picked up at our hotel, brought to the main bus. Luis, the guide, was amazing. He was smart funny and witty! We learned so much and the group we were with was pretty fun as well. The lunch was super tasty.
